We had a two night stay at the Blackberry Cottage and hated to leave at the end of the second day. My wife, her mother and our two Scotties had a great time at the cottage. The location to the town of Saluda is excellent. The cottage is well furnished and is very comfortable and quiet. While the owners are near by, you would not know they are there. There was plenty of areas to exercise the dogs. We plan to stay here again.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We enjoyed every minute of our long weekend at the Blackberry Cabin. The owners thought of everything that we might need and then soom. The full kitchen was well stocked with every dish and utensil needed. The beds were soft, warm and comfortable. We rarely turned on the TV, but when we did, great reception. David did not want to miss the race! This area of heaven is so quiet, we would stop several times during the day and say "Listen". Quiet. Lovely! We were walking distance to downtown and were able to enjoy the weekend Arts Festival and several local restaurants. Everyone in town was so nice and happy to see us out and spending our time and money. We have been telling all our friends about the beautiful cabin and the lovely area of Saluda, and that we will be coming back to the "cozy cabin in the wood....."Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.
