  The vacationers included: The parents(~63 yrs old), brother and wife(~38 yrs old), brother & gf(33 yrs old), me and gf (29 yrs old) a family friend(34 yrs old), and a dog. We stayed at Paradise Cove Friday and Saturday and would say that this property has a great house and great outdoor atmosphere with the Pool, hot tub and Tiki Bar. I would definitely stay here again. We actually did some fishing on the cove and caught about a dozen fish, nothing huge, but pretty cool none the less. The only drawbacks from the weekend were that when we arrived the pool was dirty, the ice machine was broken, and there wasn't clear directions on how to operate the pool. The ice machine wasn't a big deal, but the pool being dirty was, we contacted the owner on Friday and were told they'd send out cleaners Saturday morning. The cleaners didn't show up until 1:00pm, which was a bummer due to our short stay. Why wouldn't the owner's make sure that everything was clean and in working order? Besides the disappointment of the pool not being ready for use, Paradise Cove was amazing. The house really is beautiful and the outside tiki bar creates a great party environment. This house is great for: grilling, sunbathing, drinking, hot tub, pool, fishing, watching the sunset. Enjoy!

  Very clean home with lots of space for a large group. The owners were very nice and helpful. Great pool and barbecue area downstairs. Fantastic place to stay! We will be back!

  The pictures do not give this house justice. The house is on the end of a street and somewhat secluded (with the exception of 1 neighboring house). We stayed in the patio/pool area the entire weekend. We never left the house. The house was new and updated, we felt like we were staying in our own home. We had a great time and will definitely come again.

  We had the best time in paradis! There were 9 in our party and we had enough room to enjoy each others company without being on top of each other. The owners are a joy to work with,the property was clean and had all the cooking supplies we needed. We celebrated Thanksgiving in paradise and utilized the outdoor kitchen for our turkey and ham and the indoor kitchen for the fixins. The huge dining table seated all of us and everyone enjoyed their meal while watching the big screen and football! The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Jamaica Beach is a safe place and the police patrol it daily. We never worried about locking the cars or thehome doors. Very friendly, located at the end of a cul de sac, we felt at peace. The pool, fishing, outdoor kitchen, property as a whole was FAB! We brought our own towels for the kitchen and bath and our own bath and kitchen soaps and paper products. You will also need your own trash bags etc. There is a ice maker that works great and keeps you from needing to run to the store for ice. If you pack as if you are going on a camping trip but with luxuries you will have more than what you need. WE WILL RETURN! THANKS Paradise - it truly was!

  Just a note to say my family and I had a great vacation at the Paradise Cove! The house and grounds are so nice. It's a tropical stay without going to the beach if you choose to just stay there and not do anything. The weather was awesome and the owners very accommodating. There were ten of us and the house is nice and roomy and all rooms inviting and comfortable. Loved the color themes. Only suggestion for the house to the owners would be to consider a handrailing on the wall to the upstairs. We especially enjoyed having the Tiki area and great grilling bar area to cook and visit and hang out without having to go back upstairs. Fishing from the pier was a lot of fun and our guys were able to go deep sea fishing, too. Your landscaping is very, very nice - loved all the flowering plants and nice palm trees. What a great setting - We will definitely be looking at your home again for our family.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Paradise Cove. It was beautifully decorated, clean and very comfortable. The pool was perfect and was used a lot! We barely made it to the beach one day. We ate every meal there because we were having so much fun we didn't want to leave. The outdoor grill was awesome! Matt and Dawn always responded quickly with any questions we had and gave detailed instructions about the house. One of the best family vacations we've had in a long time!

  Our family met at the cabin from various parts of Texas. The cabin is a lovely place to stay however some serious updates are needed for the beds and couch. All members of our party awoke each and every morning with pains due to the mattresses in all rooms. The sectional couch is actually dangerous as it will not stay connected and if you are not careful you will find yourself fallen thru the splits directly on the floor. Beside the fact it is terribly uncomfortable. We have stayed at many vacation rentals before and this one in particular has the fewest linens provided. We had to purchase towels just to get by without the need to wash a few loads each day and who wants to be doing laundry constantly while vacationing? I also feel it was a bit unfair to charge for a full week when you are not allowed to enter the cabin until after 4:00 p.m. on the Monday and must vacate by 11:00 a.m. the following Sunday. All considering we had a wonderful time!

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

  Our family stayed here last week and had a wonderful time. Everything was spotless, and in working order. Kitchen was well equipped with everything.....could have used a broom and more towels for the kitchen and bathrooms. The home is beautiful and the children and adults enjoyed the pool and outdoor kitchen. We just wished the fishing had been better, but caught enough for a big fish fry. This is a great place for a big family or several couples!

  This place was Great!. We had members of our family there for a Getaway. The ages ranged from 2-62. Everyone had a great time. There was something for everyone. Loved the pool. Loved fishing there. Great location. The house was just as described. We took our boat. Great boat access. The boat ramp is close. We stored the boat trailer at Bayside Storage. Worked out great, just a few miles away. I would stay there again. We didn't do any other activities. Everyone was just content to enjoy the pool and fishing. Didn't eat out either. Used the great outside cooking area for meals.
