This cozy smoke-free log home boasts breathtaking views right in Denver's backyard. Its secluded location provides easy access to downtown Denver (25 minutes), Summit County ski resorts (50 minutes), Denver International Airport (40 minutes), Blackhawk/Central City gaming (45 minutes), or the Air Force Academy and Colorado Springs (75 minutes).
This beautiful log home has been remodeled to serve both as our home and as a small retreat center for groups up to about 14 persons. Accommodations are in the ground level of our three-story home, with about 1700 square feet and its own private entrance. This unit offers two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, a large living area with wood-burning fireplace, sun room, 1200 square feet of deck, a two-level flagstone patio and a romantic gazebo.
Our home can be the gateway to your dream vacation, with a wide variety of activities, including shopping, skiing, golfing, sightseeing, mountain activities, gambling, fishing or hunting. Our location and set-up makes it an ideal spot for vacations, family reunions, weddings or gatherings of small to medium-size groups.

Ground Level Unit: Jan 01-Dec 31 .. $165/night for 2 (3 night minimum) .. $1000/week $10 per person per night additional over 2 persons. Cleaning Fee: $75 for ground level. Security deposit: $300 (refundable after inspection). Booking deposit: 100% down, unless other arrangement agreed upon. Cancellation fee: 75% refunded 30 days or more; No refunds 30 days or less.

Wonderful house and location. Owners are very welcoming, available for any needs but otherwise left us alone. We saw deer and elk right in the back yard, beautiful view of Denver lights 1000 feet below, wonderful park (Genessee park) right up the road from the house. This is a great location for a base for events in Denver, or day trips to the mountains for fishing, hiking, or whatever. And Duke the Golden retriever will love you to death!!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing.

Wonderful place to stay! Owners were super friendly and the cabin itself was amazing. The deck area is great with fantastic views! I will definitely be coming back!

Unit had plenty of room for large family or group. Had lots of wildlife and great views. Parking was very limited, since parking is not allowed on shoulders. (Strictly inforced by owner) If you have a large group and other people are renting at the same time, you're going to have issues with parking space. The unit was not clean. Rooms were dusty, bathrooms were gross, bed linens were dirty. Fridge needed to be emptied and cleaned. Cleaning fee was ridiculous, because we had to do lots of cleaning. Overall we didn't feel very welcome.

This home was everything we could have asked for! plenty of room for all of us, very clean, homey and beautiful! we had a beautiful view, it was quiet and the owners where very nice! I would recommend this home! Our family has all agreed that if we need another family weekend we will definately try to stay in this home again! Thank you for the wonderful experience!
