  This was my first rental from VRBO. I really didn't know what to expect dealing directly with the property owners. I had a really good experience. The owner got back to me immediately with regards to availability and any other questions that I had. The room was clean, and comfortable for the 4 of us, and had a great view. I will rent from the owners again in the future.

  Amazing. This is the first word that comes to my mind after returning home from our winter vacations in Wendy's condo. The location is perfect next to the ski resort. I wanted my daughters to learn to ski and choose this property based on location. What a blast! Just down to the lobby, pass the heated pool, and BAM!!! You are at the lift. The unit is so nice that it looks brand new. Everything from silverware to towels, owner communication to condo facilities, was perfect. 5 star accommodation and service. Thanks Wendy for the memories! Eddie

  My husband and I are golf enthusiasts and have stayed at the Crystal Springs Resort the last two years. After doing some research I came across Wendy's Appalachian Condo. I emailed Wendy and was impressed with the immediate response I received from her and her assistant Casey. The instructions/directions we received were straightforward and the underground parking was a huge bonus. We stayed three nights in the one bedroom condo. Wendy’s condo was immaculate and the location was perfect...We enjoyed our morning coffee on the balcony with quiet views of the slopes and the outdoor pool/spa. The amenities inside the condo were great...we have stayed in VRBO rentals in the past and usually the renter has to bring everything from dish soap, napkins, towels, sugar, etc...this was not the case here...Wendy’s unit was equipped with coffee, filters, napkins, paper plates, aluminum foil, soap, towels, etc... We would recommend Wendy's unit and will definitely rent from her again this summer. Thank you again for the use of your condo.

• Relaxing Weekend Away from the kids!

  My husband and I stayed here for the 1st weekend this month for a little birthday getaway for me. This is our 2nd year staying in one of Wendy's Appalacian Properties. Last year we stayed in the two bedroom unit and this year in the one. We had an amazing time each time. The room and the property were great with lots to do for a couple our age (35). We enjoyed Mountain Creek which is located right in the parking lot, so no driving. We loved the pool at the Appalacian, and we had it all to ourself even on a Friday afternoon with the exception of one person sunbathing. It is located close to an awsome Drive in movie theater where we saw a double feature. Plus lots of great restaurants close by! The actual room was super cozy and a great set up, with a balcony to relax on and drink your morning coffee. The pressure in the shower was great, and nice hot water made for a much needed shower after we went rafing in the rain for 3 hours. Bed was comfy and there were extra pillows and blankets to use. Wendy was very easy to work with, and process was a breeze, and not having to deal with check in or check out in hotels lines was a bonus! We will definately be repeat guests and return again!   Accomodations were perfect for us. Nice pool and the location was ideal. Went to Grappa in Warwick which was absolutely delicious and to the drive-in movies for a double feature-thought they had all gone the way of the dinosaurs! Thanks for a great time! The Libermans Long Island, NY

  I planed a Father's day weekend surprise and this was a perfect one! The host Wendy was amazing. She responded to my inquiries very fast (I tried to contact other property in the Appalachian in VRBO and they never even answered me; so if you are thinking to rent a unit in the Appalachian, this is your place!), all the process was smooth and painless. The unit is new and very clean. We spend the weekend in this quiet, relaxing and charming place. The pool is practically yours (not crowded and noisy as Mineral's Resort) and if you go to the Mountain Creek Water Park you don't need to pay the parking because you can WALK there (it's very close and convenient). You can even take a break from the park and come back later (as we did) They give you a handful of information about restaurants and activities around the area. There is many great restaurants in Warwick (10 min away) and many different things to do with your kids. Thank you Wendy!!!

  On short notice, we had to leave FL and head for North Jersey. We called Wendy about this unit on Easter Sunday, left 4 hours later! Wendy, thank you so much for your quick response! Unit is very clean, view is fantastic! Got to watch the trail bikes come down the trails. Balcony overlooks the heated 87 degree pool. Even got to watch the woodchuck scurrying around! If we were skiers, this is the perfect unit to rent! Could watch the skiers come down and watch them on the chair lift going back up!! Thanks Wendy!

  Thank you! We loved your place---and the views on this side. Plus it's quiet. We didn't get to ski (maybe next time) however, we explored Warwick, had a great dinner at Grappa and shopped. this was a short weekend getaway from our kids. Next time we will bring them too!   My family was planning to go up to Mountain Creek during Christmas, and the mountain was not open for skiing. Wendy alllowed us to delay our trip for a later date (we had friends in the same situation and the homeowner would not allow them to switch dates). We just got back and loved the accommodations. I have rented before from homeowners and Wendy does little touches that brings her rental up to par excellence - providing soap, hair shampoo, conditioner, brochures, hangers, extra pillows, list of TV channels etc. The place was also very clean and comforatable. Thanks, Wendy. We'll be back.

  We stay at the place for three consecutive weekends the place was very clean and well maintained. The owner was very helpful throughout the process. The unit was recommended by a friend and I will definitely recommend the place to other friends and will come back. We all had great time skiing and snowboarding and relaxing in the hot tub in the evening. To have indoor garage and ski looker mad the stay easier with two kids.

  We stayed for three days at this property. Description on the website was accurate. We found the property spotless. We are very appreciative of the owners for their quick and thorough responses to our many questions. The whole process from receiving the keys in advance to information how to go about in the garage and locker was smooth and we felt like we were going to our own apartment. The information about the area was very helpful. Definitely would like to return again.
