  This studio suite is in the perfect location to get to so many great places! Its quicker to walk to the quaint downtown than it is driving, but be prepared for an invigorating/heart pumping walk coming back up the Dipsea Stairs - fantastic! Great food & shopping in Mill Valley. The owners are great & have supplied everything needed, the place is spotless and well kept inside & out and looks exactly as the pictures & video shows. Hiking, ocean & wine country are just minutes away. Our only wish is that we would have booked more time at this location - 4 days was not near enough time!

  Can I tell you how magical this apt. is? Seriously, that is the word that came to my mind when we started driving through the redwood forest this house is located in! I can not tell you how pleased we were with this location. There was a bottle of wine and some munchies that were given as a gift, upon arrival. The apt. is spotless! The location is superb! We were visiting for a wedding in Sausalito and this was perfect. We went to Muir Woods, San Francisco, and many, many other places. There are banana slugs outside! Isn't that cool! I wish my children could have seen them, but it was just us, and it was like a second honeymoon. It is very quiet and peaceful. There are deer everywhere, DRIVE SLOW. Mill Valley is the cutest town. I highly recommend Toast for breakfast. Take a drive and go to The Pelican Inn for dinner... SOOO cool! Please friends, do yourself a favor and rent this location if available. -Your Friends, Meredith and Ian from Saratoga Springs, UT.

  I recently stayed at this lovely bungalow nestled into the Mill Valley woods. It was a bit daunting to get to at night but a very peaceful location. It was the perfect place to come back to after a long day of work in the city. The fireplace was lovely on the rainy evenings. Also, they had such a lovely welcome basket filled with goodies and wine, very nice touch. I only wished they had sugar for my morning cup of coffe, but really I had no complaints.

  My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It's a basement apartment of a lovely home, with a separate entrance and a great deal of privacy. Downtown Mill Valley (with its restaurants and window-shopping offers) is a ten-minute walk away. Note that this walk includes a staircase with more than 300 stairs (down to Mill Valley) -- an excellent way to burn off dinner :) I highly recommend this option for couples looking for a weekend away!

  My friend and I stayed in the cottage in early December. We found it to be just like the pictures-- a lovely, serene and clean studio apt. The full kitchen was fabulous--we love to cook our own meals. The owners were very helpful and provided excellent hiking information. The location was perfect. We hiked right from the cottage to the Dipsea stairs/trail and Muir Woods and it was an easy drive to Mt. Tam, Stinson Beach and Pt. Reyes. We would love to make a return visit in the future!

  I brought my mom for her 74th birthday. The cottage was perfect! The owners so very friendly and available for any questions. So many homey touches snacks, waters, fruit and even a bottle of wine. No detail is missed and we really enjoyed it. My only note would be to mention the steps down as it is a little steep and would not be good for an older couple to bring their luggage.

  We rented this cottage for my Son and Daughter-in-law and were extremely pleased. It is exactly as you see in the video and exactly as described. Beautiful property, clean, walking distance into downtown Mill Valley and the owners are very attentive to any needs. I would definitely recommend, especially for people who like to hike.

  I rented this cottage to get away from it all for a few days and it was perfect! I was greeted by the friendly caretaker, chilled wine, snacks, Peet's coffee and fresh flowers. The setup is very private, even though it is attached to the main house. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. I had a great time exploring downtown Mill Valley, trying out a local yoga studio and hiking over to Muir Woods over the Dipsea steps. The cottage is exactly as shown, athough it's more of a studio than a one-bedroom. It was still beautiful and clean with all the amenities I could have wanted. Although I didn't venture far out of Mill Valley, it would also be great for visiting San Francisco or the wine country. Wish I was still there!
