This centrally located cabin is an excellent home base to explore the many hiking trails of the Dupont State Forest and the Mountain Bridge Recreation area. The cabin is beautifully furnished and features: two bedrooms, one bath, sleeps four( one queen and two twins), central air conditioning/heat, fireplace, eat-in fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, living room, laundry room with washer and dryer. Screened porch and open deck overlooking two ponds. Just bring your personal items and food.

Our family thouroughly enjoyed the Treehouse @ Golden Pond! The pictures on the web page didn't do the updated rooms justice! The home had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean! Our trip was last minute & Donna & Rose were very accomodating! We especially enjoyed the fireplace, fishing pond & trails! We can't wait to come back!

Our family stayed in this lovely Treehouse, for 3 days over our childrens spring break 4/09. We loved the peacefulness of the location, the wonderful pond, ducks and fishing and feeding the fish were our treat upon coming home after a day of hiking. Donna and her husband are wonderful hosts, the while doves were the iceing on the cake, as was the nightly fires we enjoyed over the outdoor fire pit. Cedar Mountain, is not next door to downtown Brevard, so take your items including Ice to the cabin with you, but we would not have traded the drive on reasonover road if we had the chance. We will be back. NOTE" I am a tripadvisor memeber and will be posting this on tripadvisor as well, to those who are very picky, you will not be disappointed! The Wells Family
