Book now for your winter in the sun! Painters and photographers come from all parts of the world to experience and capture the colors of the sky, the mountains, and the unique desert foliage. Two short blocks away is a beautiful community swimming pool.
You won't believe the amenities in this 1233-square foot townhome, with its spacious rooms for entertaining or just relaxing. All of the rooms have been comfortably and tastefully redecorated in southwest style. A large galley kitchen is well-stocked for all your needs (including small appliances, spices, condiments, coffee, flour and sugar). A laundry room with additional storage space adjoins the kitchen, separated by a solid sound-dampening door. The kitchen has a breakfast bar with an open view to the great room, which includes areas for conversation, dining, office, and television--plus an 88-key keyboard for you musicians!. The generous-sized bedrooms both have double closets. The master bedroom has a new pillow top king-sized bed, large-screen TV and a seven-foot dresser, en suite bath; the second bedroom, adjacent to hall bath, has a plush-top queen bed, a dresser, a desk with computer/printer, and a small wide-screen TV. Both bathrooms have 48' vanities and offer storage (one with linen closet) and grab-bars. There is a large hall closet. Cable television includes expanded channels and HBO.
Green Valley is a (largely) undiscovered gem for travelers. There are seven golf courses; and for a small fee, guests have acccess to thirteen recreation centers with tennis courts, shuffleboard, swimming pools (heated in winter) and spas, crafts, classes, lectures, concerts, games. Nearby Tucson has big-city cultural, entertainment, and shopping opportunities. Tubac, an art colony, is just a few miles down the road. Also nearby are old Spanish missions, a Desert Museum, the Titan II Missile Museum, copper mines, spectacular caverns, and many other attractions.

My husband and I rented this townhome during March and April of 2011, We were very pleased with everything we found The interior was very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. The photos were accurate and certainly helped us make our decision to rent. We were happy to have the location close to golf courses, grocery stores, the library, restrauants and shopping centers. We especially enjoyed the community recreation center being only a block away. Most of our meals were eaten on the front patio facing the mountains. We had a very enjoyable time. The owners were very helpful and answered all of our questions. We would highly recommend renting this townhome and certainly plan to come back ourselves.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+.
Owner response: Thanks, Dave and Kathy! We really liked having you as tenants; you clearly felt at home there. It's great that the townhouse and the location fit your needs so well. We're so glad that you plan to return next year! Isn't Green Valley terrific? Mike and Sandy

Mike and Sandy: What a wonderful, charming place! It couldn't be better, and it fit our needs completely. We've stayed in lots of VRBO places, but this is the best equipped. We didn't have to buy a thing except groceries. And the pictures and decorating are great! The weather was fantastic--80. or better every day. We love this area and definitely will return. There is so much to do and see here. I highly recommend the Karshner Caves and the Desert Museum. All these mountains are breathtaking, too. Cheers, Diane and VivekDid you find this review helpful?
