  We had a very good experience renting this house during the holidays! We stayed at this beautiful house with visiting family (our little home couldn't fit all our relatives), and it worked really well. The owner Derrell was very easy to work with, he was happy to show us the property beforehand and thoroughly answered all our questions; we felt very comfortable with him. He even had very tasty cookies for us when we arrived! The house was wonderful– clean, well maintained, and nicely decorated, the kitchen was spacious and well equipped, high-speed internet (major plus) and TV worked well; the online photos reflect the property well. The downstairs bedroom worked great for my retired parents; we also had kids ranging from 1 to 9 years old and they had a good time, there was plenty of room for them to play. Quiet neighborhood (we took some nice walks), yet close to shopping (Roseville Galleria is the best mall in 100 miles) if you want that. It's within easy reach of Tahoe, San Francisco, and Napa if you're coming from far away. We would gladly stay here again and would recommend it to our friends. It really was the perfect place for our family gathering, we had a great time together. Way, way better than hotels. And a very good alternative to loading up our home with too many relatives!   The house was great- very spacious and clean. The only negative I can think of is that the water pressure wasn't ideal in the showers (and anyone with long thick hair knows what a hassle that can be). But everything else was just as represented and the owner was great. We had a person with a handicap in our group so it was nice to have a first floor bedroom so she didn't have to climb the stairs. We also had a 4-year-old with us and she had a good time running around the house and backyard. The location was convenient for us because it was very close to family- but it is also only a short distance to Napa, San Francisco, and Tahoe. I will definitely keep it in mind for future visits to the area.

  We stayed for a three day weekend and felt like it was home away from home. Our three kids including a 10 month old infant were excited to be away. We were excited about the back yard, (small but perfect for hanging out) park nearby, city pool and water park 2 miles away. House included portacrib and high chair. You may want to bring a baby gate as my son loves to climb the stairs and that was a small issue. the owner is very friendly and helpful. we even had fresh cookies when we arrived. highly recommended. james

  Marvelous home & owner is an extraordinary host. The home suited all of our various family groups from across the country as we convened for a family wedding. Plenty of space to gather both in and out for additional groups to join us for large dinners & games that were in the closet all had us playing game night several times (with lots of laughs) during our stay. Great area for walkers, bikers surrounding the home for the energetic or over-eaters. The beds were so very comfortable for us to crash in at the end of the day. We easily got to Old Sacramento (go see the Railroad museum!!) and the state capital building. San Francisco was just a few hours away as was Lake Tahoe, freeway access was just minutes away. We also recommend the Waffle Barn on Pleasant Grove Road as it was an excellent breakfast place - we never made it there later in the day to see what else they offer. All in all our stay was marvelous and enjoyed by all of us.

  WOW! Words can not express what a blessing this home-away-from-home was for our family. We were in CA for our son's wedding and so enjoyed being able to stay all together, since we came from many different states. We invited some of our new daughter-in-laws family and friends over to get to know them. The backyard was perfect for that, as it is big and has lots of seating and beautiful landscaping! It was so nice to have a home to be in instead of a long stay at a hotel. If you are looking for a place to stay in or near Roseville, this one is even better in person than the photos!!Thanks a million to Derrell and crew for having this home available and for the delicious cookies!!

  wonderful home, beautifully furnished, well equipped and functional. Our 4 family groups greatly enjoyed the property and being together. It was easy to adopt the place as our california home. Easy trips to the San Francisco area, the Lake Tahoe area and for the airport and Sacramento to enjoy the area. Derrell was a marvelous host and presented the home to us in a most gracious manor and the flowers and cookies were enjoyed by all.

  We rented this house to attend our nephew's wedding. The house was perfect for us. Easy to get around, lots of restaurants, shopping etc. nearby. The backyard was perfect for early morning coffee and breakfast. The house is well equipped and quite spacious. We found everything we needed and more. Darrell was great to work with. The Roseville area is beautiful and we will definitely be making another trip to this area to explore more. Thank you Darrell!

  Great house, very clean ! owner is great, extremely helpful. everything you need is there in the house ! best house ever that we have rented so far.

  We utilized this VRBO property as a family get-together spot for a week. It was very well maintained and extremely clean as described. The photos really don't do it justice.....much roomier than expected. It is in a nice quiet neighborhood and perfect for taking walks since the terrain is flat. A wonderful park is within walking distance, which was perfect for entertaining our young grandchildren. Both a grocery store and a pharmacy are in close proximity, and we ate at the Legends restaurant, which was excellent and less than 3 miles away. The owner was super helpful answering questions both before and upon arrival. We also received our deposit back immediately. We would highly recommend this property to others seeking a place to stay--either short or long-term.
