We would highly recommend staying at the Home Away rental when in Kailua! The listing and pictures are accurate to the smallest detail. The home is very well maintained and clean. Though we didn't meet the owners (on vacation themselves), we were able to communicate via email prior to arrival, so had all of our questions answered. Everything that we needed was there - and more! It is within easy walking distance to the beach (small maps provided), close to the center of Kailua and shopping, yet quiet and private. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this Kailua home, and would stay there again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Hi Lee and Jodi! We are still reminiscing our wonderful stay in Oahu and how we enjoyed our stay in your beautiful home. We checked-in that day of the tsunami warning and was scared how things would turn out. Fortunately, it turned out well and we were out and exploring the scenic town of Kailua the very next day. We spent our first week in Waikiki and the second week in your home. We were glad we planned it out this way as we were able to just relax and enjoy the beach... this part made it feel more like a vacation to us. We were very comfortable in your home and found everything we needed. We saved a lot of money by cooking our meals but there were also good restaurants in the area when we felt like eating out. We also explored the beautiful beaches of Lanikai and Waimanalo which were also closeby. Thank you very much for having us. We will definitely recommend your place to family and friends. We hope to be back soon. PS. Your banana bread is delicious!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.
