We had a great time at the chalet. Spacious and ideal for three couples. However, we were very disappointed in the overall cleanliness of the house.

We just returned from staying here for 3 nights/4 days...it was a very nice chalet!! What a wonderful view. We had enough room for all 9 of us! The chalet is beautiful & well equiped with everything you need. Beds are comfy...bathrooms are great with jetted tubs! The directions they supplied us were right on target.

We found your chalet on VRBO, and were impressed with the welcoming feel of the pictures. When we arrived, it was much more than we expected. Your home is warm, homey, and very well equiped. We lacked for nothing. But I think the best part of your chalet is the location. You're close enough to Gatlinburg to take advantage of the "tourist attractions" downtown but situated far enough from town (maybe 11 miles) to feel the majesty of the Smoky Mountains which surround you everywhere. Our favorite part? The black bear who climbed onto the balcony one evening. We would have taken more pictures, but probably scared it away with all our screaming with delight. It was awesome. We went to Dollywood, Cade's Cove, hiked to Ramsey Cascade Falls, and played tourist in downtown (definitely take the Trolley). Again, thanks so much for a wonderful trip.

Ok where do I start. We were expecting a decent place and instead walked into the most AWESOME place that we have ever rented ! Luxury is what this place is all about. The place is immaculate and we had everything we needed and wanted.

This really is an amazing place. We had a great time. Clingman's Dome; however is not the second highest point east of the Mississippi. That distinction belongs to Mount Craig at 6,647ft.

What a lovely home!!! We had such a wonderful time. So much to do in Gatlinburg that we have to return to continue the fun. We really loved the game room. We spent every evening there. No Television just good family fun. Hiking was great, don't miss Porter's Creek Trail. The art district is nice for shoppers. If you want barbeque, Bennett's was very good. The house was well equipped, clean, nicely decorated, and very comfortable bedding. You have a beautiful home!!!

We (family of 4) stayed in Wayne & Karen's home a couple weeks ago. The home was very nice and certainly spacious. The beds were very comfortable and everyone enjoyed the place. Our favorite part was spending the evening grilling on the deck just enjoying the view. The home is a bit outside of Gatlinburg, but that was perfect for us. We didn't want to be in the middle of it all. We whitewater rafted with NOC (in NC), hit the aquarium (awesome!), did Dollyworld (just ok, good coasters!), horseback riding down the road (go early in the day, the horses get worn out later). I would certainly recommend this home, it was a very nice vacation. Thanks. The Seavey's

What a great vacation! There were 6 in our party, four adults and two girls. The girls were in the basement bedroom which was perfect for them to stay up later than the adults. All the beds were very comfortable. We made use several evenings of the game room and the hot tub. During our visit we used the recommended link for white water rafting, had a blast! We also ‘tubed’ on the river, did some hiking, horse-back riding from the stables up the road, sight-seeing in town and golfing. One week was not enough time! The only problem was the short power outages on the mountain which was out of Wayne and Karen's control. (Be sure to bring a couple flashlights just in case) It was a near perfect vacation. Thanks for making your home available!Karen, Mike, John, MaryAnn, Kalle and Madie

Our stay was fantastic! We had six in our party...the two boys took the basement, the two girls took the upstairs, and my husband & I took the main floor. It was perfect! We enjoyed the hot tub, the game room, and made some good meals in the kitchen. We did a couple puzzles on the one rainy day we had. We had a very good meal at The Alamo. The boys enjoyed golfing at Cobbly Nob Golf Course. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone who is visiting the Smoky Mountains area. It definitely beats a hotel and it is affordable.

This cabin was awesome! It is exactly as described on the site! When we first arrived, we were blown away! It was roomy enough for 3 families without feeling right on top of each other. The hot tub was very relaxing. Bring some extra towels. The ones provided are the small hotel like towels. One thing to watch is arriving at night. The road to the house has a few switchbacks, a steep grade, and the signs from the main road are small and not reflective. Once you've seen the way, it is easy. It was a direct shot into Gatlinburg and easy to get to Pigeon Forge, although not quite as direct. We stayed one week and didn't get to do it all! The Aquarium (very nice) and the Ripleys museum were a lot of fun on our one rainy day. The Military discount is HUGE. We didn't find the food around town to be very good. I'm sure we just don't know where to go, but Subway became a house favorite. :) They sure do like their pancake houses. We white river rafted and hiked in the park. We went to the outlet mall and just walked around town. Very relaxing vacation. Would do it again and would recommend if you are considering it!

A Window to Paradise was so beautiful and definitely one of the nicest places we've stayed. We had 3 families with kids... and we all had a ball all weekend. The game room and jacuzzi were a hit and all the t.v.'s were great too. We could all do our own thing or be together. My 4 year old was very disapointed when we were packing up to leave, he said "I thought we were gonna live here forever". Thanks again, we'll be back next vacation for sure.

We had a wonderful week at Windows to Paradise. The house was beautiful and exactly as described in the website, even better. With a bedroom on each floor it is perfect for several families because each have their own space. When we go back to the Smokies, we will stay here again without question. This is the first time that we have used vrbo but had a positive experience.

Karen and Wayne, Thanks for sharing your piece of the mountains with our family. The view was awesome. We had three families and plenty of room to relax and play. The children (ages 15 and 7) and adults loved the game room. Your place offered everything we were looking for and then some. I would recommend it to anyone and plan on staying there again in the future. Thanks again! Ginger and Chris Brock and Ansley Alton and Carolyn Dudley Todd, Lisa and Blake Dudley

Karen and Wayne, Just wanted to say thanks for one of the best vacations our family has had. Plenty of room for the four of us, and would be excellent for multiple families. If you want to get away, have privacy, experience spaciousness, fun and beautiful views of the mountains this is the place to be. Our first visit to the smokies coudn't have been better. The game room was a hit and while having privacy you are also only a short drive from all the action. Wonderful stay we had there. Take care.

We just left your wonderful cabin. We were three families with smaller children who all enjoyed the visit. The cabin provided plenty of things to do for the kids and adults and plenty of space and privacy for each family. We were very pleased with everything provided for the stay.. all we needed was our food and drinks, pretty much everything else was provided. We have stayed three times at Cobbly Nob and found this to be our favorite place thus far. Thank you for sharing your wonderful cabin.

This chalet was a beautiful and comfortable place to stay. However I do not recommend this property to motorcyclists. The road to the chalet is a winding, one lane road with a very steep grade to it. Also there wasn't enough room in the driveway to park a truck and trailer.

We just returned from a WONDERFUL stay at our "home away from home"! Even though it was "off season", we had plenty of things to do at the house! We had our two children with us ages 14 and 3 and both enjoyed the stay as much as we did. Our 3-year old was even sick most of the time and we could tell she felt very comfortable (as if she were in her own bed)! We were also very surprised/pleased to find out how "stocked" the house was...between towels, bedding, dishes & pots & pans...we really only needed to bring our food! They even had wine glasses & shishkabob (Spelling) Skewers! It was also nice to be able to have a washer & dryer on site. The pictures do not do this Chalet justice! You have to see it to believe how beautiful it is! We took a BUNCH of pictures to show family & friends - this will not be our last stay there...we WILL be making another reservation for a future date! Thanks again!!!!! Joanne, Scott, Mitch, & Rachel
