This is a truly unique vacation home which sits in a country like setting in the Kaloko neighborhood. This is a tranquil, private neighborhood. Nestled in at 1400' elevation, you'll find this area of Kona much cooler & less humid than staying near the water. Surrounded by a lush tropical setting, papaya, pineapples, and avocados await to be picked.



Enjoy the fabulous 180 degree coastal views from our spacious 1000 sq. ft. open floor plan. Enjoy the awesome sunrises to the golden sunsets to the twinkling city lights at night on our outdoor lanai. Just minutes away from Ali'i Drive, Costco, Borders, Starbucks, snorkeling beaches, coffee farms & many other sightseeing attractions. The Big Island Country Club Golf Course & Kona Country Club Championship Golf Courses are just a 15 minute drive in opposite directions.

Personal Currency Assistant™

$120 per night double occupancy.  Add $20 per night per additional person.
$325 reservation/security deposit holds your requested dates. This deposit
ensures that proper care is taken of the premises. The deposit less an exit
cleaning fee of $125 shall be refunded within 14 days of check out date.
The entire rental rate is due 30 days prior to your arrival. Cancellations
will be refunded providing we are able to secure another
reservation for that time period. Please e-mail or call with any questions.
Monthly Rate available. Please add an 11.25% lodging tax to the total rate amount.

  • We were pleased with the location of the property and the interior appointments. The beds were comfortable; the kitchen was light and cheerful; the outside balcony provided for comfortable sitting and use of the BBQ; the laundry area was very functional. We especially enjoyed the early morning animals,ie,the rooster, the turkeys and the cows...all part of nature in this country setting. We will stay here again and we have already told our friends about our positive experience.

  • Loved the seclusion, the roosters crowing, the cow mooing, the papaya & Avacado trees in the backyard. A lovely getaway, very peaceful with very little distraction. House had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Would go back in a hearbeat!

  • We had a GREAT time! The house was beautiful and in a perfect location. It was nice to get above all the Kona hubbub to a nice quiet retreat after driving and touristing all day. And the sunsets were breathtaking from the deck. I will definitely keep it in the "must do" list next time we're back on the Big Island. Speaking of which, we're thinking Kaua'i the next trip (2007 or 2008). Any recommendations for vacation home lodging would be very welcome! During our trip we got to see the Place of Refuge, the Kohala Heiau, Akaka Falls, and we clambered all over Hawaii Volcanoes Nat. Park. We also trooped down to Ka Lae and spent an ungodly amount of money on dinner and drinks at Huggo's our last night on the lsland. Thanks again for everything

  • Staying at this house meant having a quiet, clean and comfortable place to escape to during the very hectic Ironman weekend. We loved the cool breezes, the amenities, the grill, and especially the view. A sunset barbecue on the Lanai was fabulous. We'd stay here again if we ever get a chance.
