  My girlfriend and I have stayed at this studio twice now with plans to return. The owners were more than accommodating and we now consider them good friends. If you're okay with a 30 second walk to Sunset Beach/V-Land, then you'll love this place. It's also completely private and exclusive as advertised. The outdoor hot shower was always perfect after a surf session, followed by a comfortable seat on the "lanai" where you can see the waves during a big swell.   This was our 4th trip to the Oahu as we have family on the island. This was the first time we had to find a place to stay due to a large family reunion. We could not have picked a better place as Daniela and Larry made us feel like family. We arrived late and in the dark due to airline difficulties (imagine that) and Daniela greeted us warmly and gave us the quick tour as we were exhausted. In the morning when we woke we got to fully appreciate the beauty that surrounded us. Daniela's attention to decor was apparent in this very smart and lavish studio which felt very spacious. We too were greeted with fresh flowers from the garden. It was very secure and even though the studio is barely attached to their home you had the feeling of being alone. They really respected your privacy.and yet were just a knock away if you had a question about where to eat. They really knew every spot on the N.Shore. Kitchen had everything you needed to cook and we made breakfast every morning, packed lunches for the afternoon and snorkeled our way up and down the N. shore. So this was really centrally located. We snorkeled and swam Velzyland, Sunset, Sharks cove (awesome) 3 tables, Chuns, Waimea, Turtle beach, Turtle bay, Haleiwa, all were incredible for different reasons. Got to swim with turtles need I say more. We ate out at night using Danielas recommendations: Lei Lei's @ Turtle bay ( best meal the whole trip) Giovannis shrimp truck, Teds Bakery have to try the Chocolate Haupia Pie ( Daniela's favorite hint hint) Acai Bowl at Waialua Bakery in Haleiwa incredible sandwhiches also. Matsumotos Shave Ice of course. Grocery store in town Foodland 3 miles down the road has all the essentials and Longs drug in Haleiwa for big selection in toiletries, personal and medical stuff.. Visit the artist community in Haleiwa and support the local economy. Everyone we met so friiendly and helpful. Even though we have family to stay with in the future trips I would definately come back here to stay and recommend it highly to anyone. I stayed here with my 25 year old son and his girlfriend and we had plenty of room that we did not get underfoot. I loved my morning coffee with the ocean view sunrises on the Lanai everyday The furniture very comfortable and sturdy. Luxorious bedding and towels, fabulous outdoor shower, Huge closet and bathroom new aplliances all working, meticulously landscaped yard. Cant wait to come back. Miss the geckos & Felippe the cat

  LOOK NO FURTHER. You will love this studio and the hosts. We had an amazing stay here in March for a month. The studio was immaculate, very spacious and tastefully furnished. It's very voluminous and cozy and you will feel at home. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need and more, toaster, blender, coffee maker, microwave, and even rice cooker. The cupboard was stocked with cooking oil, spices and condiments. The bathroom was enormous with a jacuzzi, very bright with relaxing jade color theme with thick fluffy spa-like towels. The closet is also surprisingly large. In the mornings, we have our coffee on the very large lanai overlooking the ocean and sometimes get a glimpse of whales. The location of this wonderful studio couldn't be better, directly across the beautiful and dreamy beaches of Velzyland. (the nicest beach & without the tourists) It's only 4 blocks from the famous Ted's Bakery and few more to Sunset Beach. Everything was better than expected. It's always difficult to reserve a place for your precious vacation not knowing what you're going to get exactly. We couldn't be happier with our choice. The host was super friendly on the phone and accommodating. Upon arrival, we were greeted with fresh island flowers, chocolate, and cookies. The hosts really made us feel welcomed and were incredibly sweet and generous with their time and knowledge of the North Shore. They are the kindest people one will ever meet, genuine and caring. This has been our best vacation rental experience. Thanks for sharing your amazing property with us. We are so happy to have met you guys!

  Came to check off one of our bucket list entries - to see the big waves of the Pipeline! Mission accomplished:) Our stay at this studio helped make it a memorable time. Daniela and Larry provided a clean, well equipped and comfortable place to stay for our get away. We would definitlely reccommend this place to enjoy the north shore of Oahu! Glenn & Karen

  My husband and I stayed at this fabulous studio during the second week in May and were overwhelmingly delighted by the property and the graciousness of our hosts. When we first arrived, we were greeted by fresh cut flowers from the garden as well as cookies and chocolate. The studio was spotless and absolutely beautiful. Each morning (in between the rain) I took a long walk on the almost deserted beach which is really just a minute walk away. One morning we even saw a sea lion on right on the beach. The chairs on the lanai are very comfortable to read or just sit admiring the view. Every window of the unit has black-out shades installed which was an important factor why I chose this location. It also rained quite a lot, so I was very happy with all of the cable stations and my husband was happy with the wireless. The online pictures represent the property well, but don’t do justice to the huge bathroom with oversized Jacuzzi. There is also a hot water outdoor shower which was great after a day in the sun. Overall Daniela couldn’t have been nicer to us and really went out of her way to ensure our comfort. Some key recommendations: Ted’s Bakery for pie Shark’s Cove Grill for Ahi sandwich Haleiwa Joes Turtle Beach Turtle Bay Resort Waimea Park Puu o Mahuka Heiau Thanks Daniela and Larry, We hope to come back and visit sometime very soon!   My family loved staying in this large, open studio. It was a great size for me, my husband and six year old son. Close to the beach with all the extras that you want - cooler, chairs, umbrella, bikes, etc. The inside is larger than it looks in the photos and is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The deck was great for morning coffee and sunsets. Love the outdoor shower, a must in hawaii. the yard was just big enough for my son to have some extra space to play and look for geckos. The beach was beautiful and just a very short walk. To the right is a sandy area for swimming. Daniela was a gracious host and a wonderful person to meet. The North shore was a great stop on our vacation to Oahu. Waimea Bay was a great place to spend the day, very family friendly. Shark's cove was a quick drive and a great snorkel spot in the morning. I definitely recommend driving to the end of the road on that side of the island. The beaches are beautiful and deserted and easy to get to. The food truck located next to foodland was great.

  My husband, my 4 year old son and I stayed in the studio in December 2010. We LOVED it! It was clean, comfortable, convenient, cozy and we enjoyed every minute there. The studio has everything you might need for a comfortable stay in the North Shore. The location is wonderful and the owners are amazing and so hospitable. We felt like we were at home. We would recommend this location to anyone. Enjoy! Peace

  This is a beautiful, well maintained studio. Close to the epic surfbeaches on northshore. The most helpful and wonderful owners you can imagine! Perfect for a couple or 3 to 4 friends. Its not a partyplace but more a beautiful place to relax and feel the aloha spirit. The listing description was accurate and the photos are really true. I recommend to rent a car because of the distances on hawaii can be pretty long sometimes. There is a lot of beautiful nature on the northshore that will be to far away to walk to. The studio has bikes to borrow but a car is king! Thank you sooooooo much Daniela and Larry for a wonderful week in paradise! See you again! Mahalo Andreas with crew

  For our first trip to Oahu's North Shore, we (a couple in their 30's) were blessed with spending our time at this property. The studio is an immaculate, beautiful, fully self-contained private suite separate from the house and raised to offer an amazing view of Velzyland/Freddyland Beach. The lanai is perfect for morning coffee/breakfast, an evening drink, or a long relaxing afternoon or reading! The studio is private, relaxing and comfortable. Location is phenomenal if you are looking for the North Shore experience. You can walk to the local beach which is beautiful and offers swimming, surfing, snorkeling, etc… year round - even during the big wave winter season. The bikes available are perfect for a short ride to the famous Sunset Beach to watch the big waves, amazing surfers and wonderful sunsets (hence the name I suppose!). Or continue on the path all the way to Shark's Cove and Foodland for a snack run. Snorkel gear is available as are the beach essentials (umbrella, chairs, towels). The hosts have done a great job in making this a perfect turn-key getaway. And what can make the experience better than two wonderful hosts!? I can't say enough about the hospitality, friendliness and helpfulness that we experienced - they are the best! If you have any questions before or during, don't hesitate to ask as they are very responsive, friendly and informative. I would return in an instant (actually wish I was still there!) and would recommend the studio to anyone looking for a great, private location away from the hustle and bustle. I came away with memories of an amazing North Shore vacation and two wonderful friends in the hosts! You won't regret choosing this studio - the photos are very accurate and, if anything, you will be pleasantly surprised by the layout, feel and comfort! And don't forget the outdoor shower - it is absolutely heavenly after a long day at the beach!

  After calling 30 of the VRBO listings, Daniellia was one of 4 that actually answered. This property is newly renovated, the pictures are gorgeous the price is unbeatable, but the best part was the courtesy the owner of this listing extended to us. She was very POLITE, HELPFUL & UNDERSTANDING. This property did not work out for this business trip to the Islands, but we will definitely book this on our next vacation to Hawaii.
