  My wife and I and our 2 year old son just spent a week at Aunts Place. The house has been beautifully restored and has everything you need to have a comfortable and relaxing vacation. The location is perfect, centrally located to Woodstock, Phoenicia, New Paltz and Kingston. The Ashokan reservoir is stunning and being a 10 minute walk from it is great! Ray and Allyson were amazing hosts, always available when we needed them but never intrusive. We really loved our time here and hope to get back soon!

  Four of us stayed here for a long weekend getaway and loved our time at Aunt's Place. It's a charming house, clean, beautifully located and near towns such as Woodstock and Phoenicia as well as close to countless hiking and skiing options. The house was comfortable, spacious, clean and cozy, and had a wonderful kitchen full of all the pots and pans and supplies needed to cook and bake the whole weekend. Ray and Allison were gracious hosts and we were grateful for their flexibility and generosity. Highly recommended.

  My husband and I rented the ‘Aunts Place’ for July and August. What a perfect getaway from the city, just 2 hours drive. The home is decorated beautifully and absolutely spotless! We truly felt that this was our home, it was so comfortable. The photos are accurate, if anything, the home is better in person than the pictures. There is so much to do in the area, the reservoir is just a short walk away, and great for nightly or early morning walks. You couldn’t ask for better hosts, Ray and Allyson are simply terrific, always there is you need them, but never intrusive. They really helped to make our summer special. My only hesitation in writing this review is that now everyone will know what a truly terrific place this is, and we will not be able to get a reservation! Thank you Ray & Allyson, for creating this beautiful home and making our summer so special.

  We spent a long weekend here with our two young daughters (4 & 2 years old) and had a wonderful time. The house is furnished beautiful, everything was spotless and it really felt like home to us. The hosts are very nice and helpful and made sure we felt comfortable and had everything we needed. We are looking forward to our next vacation here.

  I traveled up to this property with my girlfriend and another couple from Manhattan in little under two hours and wasn't sure quite what to expect. We were all delighted with what we found! The main entrance and exit is to the back of the ground floor of the property. There is a small entrance room to hang your winter coats and take off your shoes, which goes through to the laundry and recycling room, which in turn goes through to the open plan living room and kitchen. The kitchen has all of the utensils you might need - and if you're unsure, the owners are very amenable to you asking questions about what's there. It's a lovely sized sofa, with plenty of room for four adults or a family, and board games to divert you from the satellite TV. Upstairs has two bedrooms (both queen beds) and a shared bathroom. Linen, towels and a welcome soap are provided. Everything is spotless, clean and fresh. I can't emphasize enough just what good value this property is. The nearest supermarket is a 15-20 minute drive away and it is large enough to stock everything you need. If you don't drive up with your food, it's worth stopping there, although prices aren't all that much lower than Manhattan. The reservoir is quite spectacular and perfectly flat for a walk, run, rollerblade or cycle. The Mohonk preserve is only 30-40 minutes away, as is New Paltz for antiquing or a visit to the Gilded Otter Brewery. Brilliant Thanksgiving spent there, and will definitely be heading back in the year ahead.

  We came to Olivebridge from California for my brother's wedding and found this rental online-it is even better than it appears in the photos! This home is wonderful. Not only did it have all of the amenities you could possibly need on a visit but it is gorgeous inside and out!! Ray and Allyson were wonderful hosts and so accomodating to my family. The property is wonderful and the location is perfect. We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

  If you're a person looking for that place to just get away from the world, then this is it! Located in Olivebridge, this house is a nice and cozy home away from home with a beautiful living room, perfect cooking area (both in door and out), and plenty of space to sleep. It's also less then 5 minutes from from the Ashokan Reservoir, which means if you like to fish, boat, or just walk around and take in the amazing scenery, you're set! I highly recommend this to the outdoorsy person at heart and the city goer who needs quiet......if even just for a few days.

• Great Place!

  My girlfriend and I stayed here this past Memorial Day weekend and we had the nicest time. The house is beautiful and immaculate, Ray and his family were warm hosts, and the area offers plenty to do. Mostly though, we just had a great time relaxing with a few cold drinks on the back patio. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone and we hope to go back and visit soon!

  My Husband and I along with our 14 month old had an amazing weekend in this beautiful and spotless home. The kitchen had all appliances needed for cooking, eating etc. The dishware seemed to have a Japanese style to eat which was cute being that my husband and I are sushi lovers. Everything was just so accessible and convient. Comfortable stools perfect for any meal and even great if you having some drinks. Let me not forget to mention the adorable radio. The living room was comfortable and cozy with the a middle table that had cushions/chairs to sit as well. I recommend the music stations on the tv made for some nice peaceful and fun times when we werent watching a movie, channel 3-5 played the best oldies and doo-wop if your into that. The two bedrooms were beautiful and both had cable tvs. The bathroom again beautiful and so clean. The entire home felt like it was done by an anterior decorator and belonged in a catalog, I mean the style, colors and whole decore was fabulous. We stayed here from 2/12/11 - 2/14/11 and had unforgetable weekend. The owners seemed so nice and avaliable if u needed them. We are looking foward to coming again soon as well as our son who had a blast. Thank you so much Ray and Allyson!

  My boyfriend and I found this rental online, and stayed there while we were visiting my family over the Thanksgiving holiday. It was a beautiful house, and everything we needed was right there which was wonderful. Full kintchen, washer dryer, tv's and internet, it was great. The house was clean, and the place looked even nicer than in the photos! The rooms were gorgeous! The property was large, and had a nice back yard. The town was beautiful, and not far from Kingston, which is where we did some shopping. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone who wants a quiet place to stay while visiting relatives in the area, or just to get away. The owners were very nice people, and were very helpful with all of our questions. I hope the place is available the next time we go to visit my family.
