This cottage is two short blocks from the beach on a beautiful barrier island on the Gulf of Mexico. There are two attached cottages on this property. They are mirror images. Both cottages have been completely renovated and have open beam ceilings, terrazzo floors, new central heat and air and new kitchen and bathroom. There is plenty of outdoor space to sit and relax with a glass of wine or just enjoy the beautiful weather. The cottages are within walking distance to several restaurants, bakery, ice cream parlor and pub. They are near the trolley stop which allows one to explore many miles along the gulf beaches. Our tropical landscaping, patios, and coconut palms all contribute to creating a very relaxing 'Old Florida' feeling.
Bring your Boat, this property is located just two short blocks from the beach, on a large corner lot with plenty of parking for your boat. There is a newly built boat ramp nearby with parking for your car. Indian Rocks Beach is a beautiful spot of pristine white sandy beaches and sparkling water perfect for swimming. It is located on the 12 mile string of tropical barrier islands between Clearwater and St. Petersburg Florida.
We are conveniently located 45 minutes from Bush Gardens, Lowry Park Zoo and Ybor City and 1.5 hours away from Disney World and Universal Studios.
Indian Rocks Beach has been written up by a major newspaper for being one of the few remaining quaint beach towns, essentially unspoiled by commercialism. You can sit down with the locals and enjoy a plate of seafood at one our excellent restaurants or have an ice cream cone at the local parlor. For breakfast enjoy a cup of coffee and a treat at the local bakery. All within walking distance.
Not much has changed from the easy living that brought people here in the 1920's.
For the more adventurous there is parasailing, kayaking, scuba diving, snorkeling, tennis, racquetball, golf, dolphin encounters and sailing.

I stayed there for Feb.and March ,2012 and loved it. Hope to be there next year. Beautifully furnished and clean. Lots of outdoor entertaining areas, and lots of parking. Would recommend it to anyone.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Sorry it took so long to write a review. My wife and I stayed here in March 2011 and had a great time here. Such a nice place, and such nice owners, they came by to do yard work and check to see if things were O.K. Nice neighborhood, made you feel right at home, close to the beach and places to eat. Will for sure come back here again!!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

When my husband and I opened the door of the cottage the biggest smiles were on our faces. Everything was just like the photos, even better! I had spent hours looking for a place and we had everything we needed and more. We could walk to several restaurants and the French bakery two blocks away was a treat. To be able to walk to the beach every day was the best and at sunset a special treat. We enjoyed ourselves so much we are going back next year.Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

my wife and i spent the month of february at the cottage. we found the rental well equipped and very clean. we could walk to the beach and our favorite resturant,"guppys" having beach chairs supplied was a plus and the side and back patios' were excellent for relaxing. would definately recommend this property for a single or coupleRecommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway.

This is the perfect place for a getaway. So many great restaurants & beaches within walking distance & Tampa / St. Pete are only a short car ride away. We were able to have beach time in Clearwater & visited Busch Gardens in the same day. Cottage has a Key West feel to it, very comfortable & clean. The owners thought of everything to make it it homey.Indian Rocks Beach has that small town feel to it. We will definitely be back!!! We would highly recommend this location!!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.
