**Sunday to Sunday rental**. Large shaded lot with original cottage. Exposed beams and a breezeway and screened in porch with a porch swing. The loft bedroom is accessed via a steep set of stairs that older people and small children might find difficult. Short walk to the private guarded beach. Located on a quiet dead-end street that is safe for walking and bike riding. Long semicircle driveway and off street parking for 3 to 4 vehicles. There is parking allocated for guests and residents on the beach access road and foot showers are available at the beach paths. Access to the beach requires a pass and space on the beach is always easy to find. The house has central A/C and a wood stove.

This home was perfect for our family. We loved the property's wooded setting as well as the proximity to the beach. (We even saw deer in the front yard one evening!) The "cottagey" feel to the home made us feel very comfortable and we were impressed at how well equipped it was. It is clear that the owners have really considered the needs of their guests. It was also clean and well-maintained. This was our family's first visit to the Delaware beach and we loved it. The private beach itself was clean and not crowded. We hope to make a return visit to this home in the future.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We have rented at Middlesex Beach for many years. We just completed two weeks at 21 Bridge Street and have nothing but good things to say.In fact, this was among the best houses and values we've experienced. The house was in excellent condition, clean and well-stocked with equipment. Furhter, the owners were very responsive to our questions. Our one caution is that the loft area, while spacious and comfortable, is difficult for smaller children to reach, Middlesex Beach is terrific and a short walk away. Given the opportunity, we will definitely consider renting this house again.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

We were very impressed with the house and furnishings. It had all the comforts of home and more. The property was all it claimed to be. The house was clean and comfy and a short walk to the beach. Loved the private beach, would only go to Middlesex Beach in the future. The upstairs bedroom is more of a Kids Bedroom, would have liked to know that, with a ladder descending to the downstairs. SHORT TERM RENTAL AGREEMENT This Short Term Rental Agreement (the “Agreement”) is made by and between ___William L LeConte Jr. __________ (“Homeowner”) and _ ____________________ (“Guest”) as of the date last set forth on the signature page of this Agreement. For good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency of which is acknowledged, the parties hereby agree as follows: 1. Property. The property is located at: ____21 Bridge Rd Bethany Beach Delaware 19930____________ The property is furnished and includes ___Washer/ Dryer, Microwave, Internet, Cable TV, Central A/C. The cleaning service will clean the house prior to check-in and this is included in rental agreement. The rental agreement does not include linens . Please make sure as little sand as possible makes it into the drains and washing machine. There is an outside show that should be used upon returning from the beach. 2. Rental Party: The rental party shall consist of Guest and the following persons: ____________________________ ________________________________________________________ __________________________________________ 3. Maximum Occupancy: The maximum number of guests is limited to 10 persons. An additional charge or $50 per person per night for guests in addition to 10 will be assessed. 4. Term of the Lease. The lease begins at _4:00 p.m. on _ _ (the “Check-in Date”) and ends at __11:00 a.m. on _ ___ (the “Checkout Date”). 5. Minimum Stay: This property requires a 7 night minimum stay. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner. 8. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. We suggest you bring beach towels in addition to all bed linens and bath towels. 9. Fireplace: The fireplace is a wood stove. 10. Water and Septic: The property is on city water and sewer systems. The sewer system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged damages of up to ___$250_________.] 11. Storms: If there is a storm or hurricane, no refunds will be given unless: • The state or local authorities order mandatory evacuations in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area" and/or • A "mandatory evacuation order has been given for the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning" area of residence of a vacationing guest. • The day that the authorities order a mandatory evacuation order in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning," area, we will refund: Any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered; Any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten the stay, to come in after the Hurricane Warning is lifted; and Any advance rents collected or deposited for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the "Hurricane Warning" period.
