This spacious well-appointed country farmhouse has more than 3800 square feet to meet everyone's needs. Relax by the fire quietly in the main level master bedroom or play billiards in the rec-room in the south end. High speed wireless internet is available throughout the home. The main house was built in the 1820s and has been modernized for comfort with central heating, storm windows and a fully equipped large kitchen and a gathering/dining room for 10. The connected barns date from the late 1700s and are set up for added dining and family gatherings in the summer. The expansive yard is secluded & cook-out or picnic ready. Relax after a day of skiing, hiking, mountain biking, or antiquing. This classic farmhouse exudes warmth, charm, and character and awaits you and your family for a memorable retreat. There are six bedrooms and they are well furnished and extra cots and a Porta crib with bedding are available for your comfort. Thank you in advance for respecting these requests and details required of all guests: 1. We ask for a copy of your driver's license to be sent with your contract prior to arrival. 2. We ask that the responsible adult 30 or more years of age be available at check-in with the same driver's license, be present throughout the stay, and be accountable for the safety and security of our home throughout the rental period. 3. This is a totally nonsmoking home and yard. 4. We have added a dog run and you may bring your dog with an added fee and pet debris must be disposed of off premises prior to your departure. 5. The house has eight beds accommodating 12 guests very comfortably. We have a fold up port-a-crib with bedding. We also have two fold-up single futons. Please see contract for the additional nightly fees for more than 12 guests . There is a glider port about 400 yards from the front yard. It looks like an airport on the Google maps but it is indeed only a small glider-port and they do offer rides seasonally.
If you have a dog, and want approval to bring your dog there is a fee of $125 per dog, max 2 dogs.
A Garbage/Recycle Fee of $125 is charged if you decide you don't want go to the transfer station1 mile down the road.

This Spacious Classic farmhouse is a 2 minute drive to the village of Franconia and I- 93 at Exit 38. The quaint village has many excellent restaurants, cafe/deli ,a well stocked country grocery & general store, a hip coffee shop and the infamous Garnet Hill factory outlet.
Cannon Mountain and Franconia Notch State Park are only 8 minutes by car. You can be on the chairlift 15 minutes after leaving your vacation home.
The Appalachian Trail passes by to the East for hiking and or X-C- Skiing. The Franconia Inn is our neighbor and you can walk to have a sleigh ride, a glider ride or a bike rental. Bretton Woods and Mount Washington are less than a half hour stunning drive away.
Easy access to the towns : Littleton, Lincoln, Bethlehem, and Bretton Woods.
Vermont state line is only 40 miles to the north. Franconia is well known for its network of trails for cross-country skiing and mountain biking just outside our door.

The back yard has access to cross country ski trails and a running river in the spring and summer. It is such a relaxing place all year round.
