We stayed at this home for a week from 11/15-11/21/12 for my daughter's wedding in Haiku. The wedding venue was just 5 miles away from Paia. It was a great idea to stay in Paia because of its proximity to the beach since we have grandkids, ages 8 and 12. We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful home. It has 3 great bedrooms and a loft, 3 bathrooms and the kitchen is just perfect for party of 7. This place is immaculately clean! Our grandkids enjoyed going up the loft. Bathroom, kitchen and beach towels were nicely provided. The kitchen has all the items a family would need. It has a washer and dryer too which made it easier for us to wash wet clothes after a day on the beach. It's location is in the heart of Paia town so it was really accessible to every little thing that we needed. Everything was walking distance. There are restaurants in the area and there are so many quaint little stores and boutiques. It is also very close to OGG, Costco, K-Mart and not too far from the Mall. If you wish to go to Kihei or Wailea, it is a good 20-25 minutes drive. The only drawback I could think of is it is not handicapped friendly because of the staircase. Otherwise, it's a good exercise going up and down! Overall, we have a very pleasant stay and we all had a great time!!! I highly recommend this house to eveybody. The beach is just steps away and it was a bit windy when we were there.

Fantastic house with direct beach access

My wife and I visited this house while staying at the Paia Inn. Francisco (owner) was kind enough to meet us and show us the house. It is exactly as described. It is better in person than the pictures show and we plan on staying here in the future. Our kids will love the loft overlooking the kitchen. Each bedroom is seperate so if you want privacy, you'll have it. The near-private beach is also fantastic. It's the same beach shared with the Paia Inn. The house is *right* in town so you will have access to all the local restaurants and shops. The house is modern, clean, quiet and very nice.

Amazing home, owner and location!

We couldn't have been happier with our stay in Paia. The house was perfect for our almost eight year old twins as well as our needs. It is a well-appointed and clean home. There is nothing you could want for. We highly recommend this to anyone. The location was fantastic. The town of Paia was perfect for our tastes and we felt among friends. The beach access provided an exceptional playground for our family...frolicking in the waves on the shore for the kids and boogie boarding for the adults (we need to learn how to surf!). Mana Foods was a real treat for this gluten free girl. While cooking at the house was a delight, we found several gluten free restaurants in Paia and in Maui that provided wonderful fare. Of course all of this trip was made all the more easy with the exceptional hospitality and graciousness of Francisco. We were lucky to meet his mom and her husband; both are gems. The whole experience was the best we have had in all of our travels. We can't thank him enough and we look forward to a return trip soon! We promise to keep better track of our dates in the future :-). Mahalo and Happy New Year!

Francisco, Our family truly enjoyed our week spent in your beautiful house. The little town of Paia is a fabulous place to shop, eat, and relax. We were all sad to leave!! Hi Francisco, I wanted to extended a heartfelt thank you for all your help with organizing the rehearsal dinner I held for my family at your beautiful home. Our time spent there was memorable, and we all miss the house, the town and Maui. Anyway, it was a pleasure to have met you on the last day, we were regretting not staying longer but real life was calling back here. Our vacation was wonderful. My family loved the house. It was like home for us. We were very comfortable,spacious and clean. It was also conveniently close to all shops, restaurants and the beach. This little town really reminded me of Berkeley, CA. which is close to home. I just wish we had direct access to the beach but it was close enough that we didn't complain too much. :0) All in all, it was a great place to be to have a relaxing vacation and I would definitely do it again in a heartbeat.

We would like to thank you for helping us enjoy an amazing vacation in Maui. Paia Villa is a great vacation house. It's comfortable, spacious, well equiped, and located in the heart of the "town." Tamara and Francisco have taken good care of all our needs, and were extremely gracious letting us stay one additional night after our night flight was unexpectedly cancelled. Besides the lovely stay at the villa our two sons had a great time at kite beach, cruising the waves every day... Towards the end of the week, we went for a beautiful scuba diving trip with Ed Robinson's team and a day later biked down from the crater.
