Located on six quiet and private acres, this vacation rental is a fully stocked home and cottage. We invite you to enjoy our renovated wine house in the heart of Sonoma Valley. Our home is set up for turnkey enjoyment with a Zinfidel vineyard, a formal English rose garden, hot tub, expansive outdoor cooking and dinning area with built in gas and charcoal grill, hammocks, bocce ball court, horseshoe pit, children's play structure, seasonal creek, outdoor fire-pit, and more. Come escape to the country, with all the conveniences of home!
Our fully air conditioned main house features three bedrooms (King, Queen, Queen and three twins), each bedroom has its own private full bathroom. You will enjoy a beautiful great room with 20 foot floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking our grand old oak tree and outdoor dinning area. A dramatic wood-burning fireplace and formal farm-house dining table for 12, all set the stage for a memorable visit.
We now have highspeed internet with WiFi and ethernet hook up, two TVs with comcast cable, DVD/VCRs, CD/DVD player and headphone jack for your iPod to run through the stereo.
The property also features an adjacent, yet private guest cottage with two independent apartment units. Each unit includes a kitchenette, with refrigerator, and coffee maker, as well as a queen bed and private full bath. These units can be joined as one or used separately.
Our Main House, features a fully stocked gourmet kitchen and is the hub for entertaining with all of the necessary ingredients for a great vacation: gas range with built-in griddle, two ovens plus microwave, sharp knifes, and most importantly two dishwashers! And lastly, our family room, sun porch looks out over the creek and back meadow. It offers an old fashion wood-burning stove and additional dining for casual meals, with easy access to the back deck and hot tub.
You are free to swing on the swings, walk the garden's or vineyard, and don't forget to have a picnic in the formal English rose garden, which features over 50 species of roses.
The property also features a now retired chicken coop next to the kids play structure. Our next door neighbors run their horses on our upper pasture and there are always several sheep out back. Our front vineyard features old-vine zinfandel grapes, while the creek-side vineyard grows some delicious pinot noir grapes. The hillside garden enjoys a seating area in the morning sun, nice view of the property and lots of flowers, seasonal vegetables, and some huge climbing roses.
The property is located in the middle of the world-renowned Napa, Sonoma growing region of Carneros, best known for its award winning Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Our home is surrounded by well-known (and better yet, not so well-known)Sonoma Valley wineries and only 15 minutes from the Napa Valley wine region. As for restaurants and shopping, our home is ten minutes from the Historic Sonoma Plaza offering a wide variety of five-star choices!

We brought a group of 5 couples with us this trip. Everyone had a great time. The house was just what we needed and allowed us to enhance our friendship by cooking together, sitting around the fire, using the hot tub, etc. This group already wants to return. Then again, they didn't want to leave. Appreciate all the efforts Terri extended to us. We'll be back!

We absolutely loved Terra Meade. Renting was easy with no hassles. Property is beautiful. No complaints from any of the 5 couples. Kitchen was great--large dining room made dinners very fun. Outdoor barbecue and firepit area were especially appreciated. Bocce and horseshoe pit were also a big hit.
