  A group of 10 adults (5 adult couples in our mid 30's) and one 2yr old child recently stayed at Terra Meade for a long weekend in February. The house was SO fantastic we were upset that we didn't stay more than just 4 nights! The moment we first arrived as the sun was starting to set we were amazed but the both the house, guest cottage, barn and pool area as well as outdoor area. Sometimes place look better in pictures than in reality but this house was even better in person! We had several rental cars amongst us but the spacious driveway area allowed for more than enough parking for all of us. The main house was large and spacious and we never felt like we were crowded even when we were all hanging out in the main area. We cooked several times in the kitchen and outside grill and it was so nice having all the "equipment" we needed. We had roaring fires in the fireplace and it was particularly nice that both the indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit were well stocked with wood. We all sat outside the last evening around the fire pit as a group and ate dinner and it was a lovely setting. There was more than enough room for everyone and we even mentioned we could have probably invited a couple other people and still had plenty of room. The 5 private bathrooms are also a plus so everyone could get ready at the same time when necessary. We also immensly enjoyed the renovated barn and the boys in our group definitely enjoyed the pool table, music and foosball while the girls enjoyed the hammocks by the pool. We never did get to use the bocce court but all the outside areas were lovely. I highly recommend any large family's or groups renting this house- The owner was extremely responsive to the many questions I inundated her with. Being such a large group many people had individual questions and she was more than happy to answer all of them. It was perfect for us and we will definitely go back to Terra Meade the next time our group goes to the area.

  I rented this home for four days for my wedding party to stay at for our Sonoma wedding weekend. The house itself is wonderful - rambling, gorgeous, every amenity you can think of, with a great upscale-rustic vibe. There were 12 of us but everyone had plenty of room, space in the kitchen, bathrooms, etc. and we actually had to ask people to keep there phone on them because the property is so large we kept losing track of where everyone was! The owners were great to work with, very accommodating, and let us know ahead of time of some minor appliance issues (they offered to have repaired while we were there but the issues were so minor we didn't need it done). We loved out time at TerraMeade and highly recommend it!

  started when we pulled into the driveway. This gorgeous, well appointed country estate was the backdrop for my mothers 70th birthday. With family and friends, we enjoyed 4 days of relaxing, wonderful food & many laughs, complete only in a location second to none. The main house and cottages accomodated our group, where everyone was comfortable, yet had their own space. The bedding, linens and furnishings are top notch. There are touches throughout in decor & excellence that truly make you believe you are in your own home and not "just a rental house". You will lack nothing in your stay here. The AMAZING kitchen opens to a beautiful sun room, leading to the back porch & spa. The other kitchen area opens to the great room with gorgeous, vintage fireplace, large 12 person table & breathtaking views of the outdoors. The grounds are simply remarkable. The outdoor kitchen, firepit & bocce ball court was where the evening action was, until we decided to venture to the redone rec room barn, complete with pool table. I cannot say enough about our stay and how wonderful it was to work with the owner, Terri. We NEVER wanted to leave and are counting the days until we are able to return. There are moments in your life that truly take your breath away and we were LUCKY enough to celebrate such memories in a setting we will not forget. Thank you Terri ~

  Our family is returning for another wonderful stay at this perfect property. Beautiful location with so much space and neat amenities. We are all looking forward to it. Owner is most easy to work with.

  We brought a group of 5 couples with us this trip. Everyone had a great time. The house was just what we needed and allowed us to enhance our friendship by cooking together, sitting around the fire, using the hot tub, etc. This group already wants to return. Then again, they didn't want to leave. Appreciate all the efforts Terri extended to us. We'll be back!

  We absolutely loved Terra Meade. Renting was easy with no hassles. Property is beautiful. No complaints from any of the 5 couples. Kitchen was great--large dining room made dinners very fun. Outdoor barbecue and firepit area were especially appreciated. Bocce and horseshoe pit were also a big hit.

  Our family from the East and West just spent a great weekend at the house celebrating our father's 75th Birthday - the house was great for multi-generations and fully met our hopes for the weekend. Great indoor and outdoor space to enjoy --
