Tranquil Lakefront Home - Beautiful This Time of Year!

  We rented this beautiful home for the weekend in celebration of our daughter's graduation from GCSU. Everything about the home is perfect ... a real home away from home! We were greeted the first night by a crane on the deck who flew away majestically for us! Then there were the fish jumping and splashing in the lake. Oh yea, and an armadillo walked right by the porch one night!!! Thank goodness for the gates! This home had everything you would want in renting someone else's home. It was not sparse! From the welcome basket, the amazing master suite, the enormous grill, well appointed kitchen, plenty of room for everyone and their gear, blow dryers, plenty of linens, VERY CLEAN!!!, it was spotless (a big deal to me), super nice and helpful owners to work with, to the beautiful surroundings of the tranquil lake and nature; we had a perfect weekend! The pictures here really don't do it justice. We did make use of the garden tub, which was devine! My arthritic mom was able to feel safe and shower in the bathroom downstairs because it has a little chair in it. The grill is perfect!!! We grilled 16 steaks, not sure what we were thinking there - but we ate on them for two days!! I love a charcoal grill!!! The deck has wonderful adirondack chairs you won't want to get out of them - and the lake is breathtaking! It is a hop, skip and a jump to Macon and Milledgeville. We actually went to Macon to Sam's to load up and of course made several trips in to 'Miilyville' for the ceremonies. OK - it did rain on us - but we were so happy - it didn't matter! The kids jumped in the lake anyway to celebrate their graduation! My daughter had 2 of her classmates and their families over after graduation on Saturday and we had plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the celebration even though we had to stay inside. The rain sounded amazing in the house, especially since I had the master suite upstairs! If we had thought to take some wood, I would have talked my dad into opening the flue and building us a fire! It really is a beautiful home! Easy to get to and once there - you won't want to leave! I totally understand now - WHY people have lake houses!! My daughter and her fiance' are already planning to have one on Lake Sinclair! Many thanks to these owners for opening and sharing their lovely home with us. It was a trip we won't soon forget!!

  Enjoyed our stay at this property. The house is furnished very nice with a great view of the lake. The fishing was excellent during our stay.

  Our stay at you lake home was very pleasant & relaxing. We did plan for a few days of fishing & brought our pontoon, but the weather did not work out for us. We did very little fishing, only a few hours 1 evening in the boat, & an hour maybe from the dock. It rained, a wind advisory was issued, & turned cold & with the wind chill...burr.... But the home was great. I know that if the weather had not turned bad for us, the trip would have been perfect. The house was clean, & everything we needed was there- just as stated. The dock was nice also. We hope to return again in the summer & hopefully will have better luck with the fishing. We did catch a few even with not much time on the water. We did travel to Macon, Madison, & Eatonton for sight seeing & shopping. Would definitely recommend this home. We enjoyed playing ping pong, & the piano also. Did not use the hot tub or the nice big grill, but hopefully next time. Thanks for sharing your lake home with us.

  Dear Susan, Thank you for renting us your lake house. Our family had a wonder Christmas holiday. This was our second visit, and yet again we enjoyed every aspect of the house and the area. You and your husband have done a great job with furnishing the house and paying attention to details. We enjoyed the house, the dock and the water. We look forward to visiting yet again!

  We united here with our families for Thanksgiving. We had everything we needed to cook a feast. We enjoyed hikes at nearby Rock Hawk Effigy, boardgames, roasting marshmallows, ping pong and playing in the leaves around the property.

  We have rented houses at Llake Oconee and this was our first at Sinclair. None of them compared to the furnishings, entertainment, and cleanliness of this house. The house is beautifully arranged for both adults and kids in mind. Definitely the best set up dock with lights to fish at night or just relax and enjoy the lake. I truly loved the big grill made out of bricks and the, the lighted walkway and comfortable swing to enjoy the lake. I could go on, if you are looking for a A+ rental with everything and owners that are extremely helpful you have to rent his house. Oh I almost forgot and what a welcome basket that I have never received at any othe rental.

  We loved our stay at the lake house. The home was beautiful and we were even greeted with a welcome basket! The area of the lake was perfect - Our daughter and her friend had a great time swimming and fishing at the dock. The view from the house was awesome - thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck. Easy access with the boat and only a 10 minute boat ride to the marina - Plenty of boating space - no worries with kids tubing. We plan to book again.

  This is our second year staying at this house and again it was the BEST!!! This house fits my family perfect! We brought the dogs with us this year and they had just as much fun as the rest of us...they loved being at the lake. We had jet skis and our boat and being able to use the lift for the jet skis and for our boat was a HUGE help. Our favorite part is when we first arrive to see what kind of goodie basket the Reismans leave on the table for us. We love our yearly family vacation at this house and the hospitality that the Reismans give us!! Thank you for allowing us a wonderful stay at your home and we will definately be back for a 3rd year!!!

  Of all the places we have ever stayed on the lake,noone has thought enough to leave a Welcoming Basket full of delicious goodies!! The home is just perfect with every need to make it such a delightful stay.The basement was perfect for indoor entertaining.We didn't have a chance to use the grill but it was large enough to cook a weeks worth of food at a time.Fishing,swimming & the dock were great.We will be returning & hopefully,soon!!!!!!!

  Our family loved our stay. The property is beautiful, relaxing and spacious. We loved the dock and the lake views. It was very clean and welcoming when we arrived. My 4 yr. old granddaughter enjoyed the downstairs play room where she could play and watch her programs. We would consider renting it again!
