Casa Dos Cisnes ('House of the Two Swans') is a luxurious hacienda style 5 bedroom, 5 & 2 1/2 bath Mexican colonial-style villa located high in the hills of the Sierra Madre mountain chain in the exclusive Conchas Chinas neighborhood, 5 minutes drive to the Romantic Zone in the Old Town of Puerto Vallarta. Built on four levels around a central courtyard, the house has approximately 10,000 square feet of living area with spectacular views overlooking the Bay of Banderas. This elegant hacienda setting reminiscent of the colonial period juxtaposed against stunning views combines for unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime vacation memories. I can not begin to share with you how special Casa Dos Cisnes is to Brian and me. The memories we have shared is what this is about. You all are so generous to open your doors both for my wedding and for our anniversary. Our vacation will never come close to matching the memories and free spirit we all shared during this time in our lives. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. WOW!! What an amazing time we have had here. Everyone took such good care of us, The staff with the amazing food, always with a smile and caring nature not to mention attention to each and every need. In one word, Amazing! The owners have created an extraordinary piece of heaven. Our family is so fortinate to have shared our time together in such a beautiful place. When I am back home in Colorado, at work and thinking about how to relax, I will instantly be transported back to my time here at Casa Dos Cisnes. Whether it be sitting by the pool drinking a Cerveza or reading a book in the library, I believe I found the very definition of how to relax. The service was top notch, the sun plentiful and the company delightful. If I ever get another opportunity to enjoy myself in Puerto Vallarta I dream that it will once again be right here! We had the pleasure of staying at this amazing villa for two weeks in November and I can't say enough great things. The pictures are amazing on the website but you will be blown away when you walk into the villa and experience first hand the views! We arrived with two boys (6 and 9) and six adults and we had more than plenty of room. The staff became our second family during our stay. Jose Carlos is the best Chef I have ever experienced. After a couple of days we realized he was so talented that we let him make whatever he felt like for each meal because we knew it would be superb! Every morning we were greeted by Elvira with our coffee and baileys standing by. One of the best moments for me during our stay was the celebration of my son's 7th birthday. He got to order anything he wanted to eat which included an ice cream cake and Jose Carlos made it from scratch. Elvira and our other housekeeper (sorry I forget her name) spent hours making 32 towel animals/people that was placed in his room with lots of balloons and a Happy Birthday sign. I was so touched by the personal touches of this staff during our stay. The owners of the property truly care about you and the villa. The art work, quality of the furniture and the staff are a true reflection of the care the owners have put into this villa. It is definitely your "Home Away From Home." The process in booking, transfer arrangements and even receiving our deposit back was quick and easy. The only cons I would say would be the amount of stairs and you couldn't walk easily up to the villa from the beach. My father has a hard time walking and the stairs were challenging for him. The villa is situated at the top of Choncha Chinas and was a 20 min steep walk down to the beach. As I said the views were spectacular but the walk up from the beach was almost impossible. You need to jump in a taxi (which there is plenty) for $5 US to get back up. Again, the pros outweigh the cons by far. Best vacation ever!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

The description of this Villa has not been exaggerated one bit. It is everything it says and more. The staff were very attentive to our needs as our famly ranged from ages 25 years to 82 years old. Everyone was well taken care of. The meals were better then any restaurant so we chose to eat in every night. Rodrigo, our Chef was incredible. Cocktails - Three course dinner plus dessert every night. Sitting at the large dining room table with the doors open to the large patio, with a view to the bay which is where we spent most of our time. The entire villa is spotless and well maintained, beds were very comfortable. This is a perfect spot for a special family vacation or any special event.
