THE LOCATION within the Terres Basses is fantastic! With easy (10 seconds) access to the main road you are just 2 minutes to Cupecoy - with all it's exciting new restaurants, gourmet grocery, watersports, etc. Just another minute to Atlantis Casino with 5 - 6 fine restaurants of varied cuisine and 3 - 4 minutes from there is Maho with another amazing selection of great restaurants, shops, a Casino and the island's best nightlife. Not to mention 10 minutes (from the villa) in the other direction takes you to the charming Capital town - Marigot - with its' authentic French bakeries, 2 Harbours with shops, interesting sightseeing and a variety of Brasseries and fine French Restaurants.
THE FLOOR PLAN is perfect for friends traveling together and / or larger families. 4 large air conditioned bedrooms are on the main level and are accessed directly from the pool terrace. The fifth air conditioned bedroom with a kitchenette is located on a lower level. Two rooftop decks offer even more views, private sunbathing, or just a place to sit and relax. In addition to a large living area featuring a big TV with Dish Satelitte and DVD, the villa also offers an Air-Conditioned loft den/office that comes complete with a computer and another small sitting area.
THE VILLA opens to a large terrace surrounding a disappearing edge pool. Relax in the cushioned outdoor seating; Enjoy the Caribbean sun in comfortable Chaise Lounges or splash at the edge of the pool while enjoying the beautiful views!
There are several smaller PRIVATE TERRACES to enjoy as well. Facing west at the front entrance and a comfy terrace with cooling breezes and sunset skies to the north west - just off the kitchen and grill area.
A 'bridge walkway' through lush tropically landscaped grounds leads to the garage that also houses a private gym equipped with a weight machine, small free weights, treadmill, eliptical machine, and heated jacuzzi. And immediately out your front gate (still within the gated community) is a tennis court maintained for the exclusive use of the community.

Our family of 8 just returned from this Villa. The villa listing is accurate and even more beautiful in person. There are 4 master bedrooms with HUMONGOUS beds off of the pool deck each with their own bath. I shared with my sister and we didn't even know the other was in the bed half the time. Each master also has its own AC and ceiling fan which worked great in cooling your room (we shut our bathroom and closet doors for optimum cooling). The rest of the house is not air conditioned but the humidity there was low (maybe every 3rd day and not unbearable). The kitchen was well stocked with usual kitchen stuff you would need. The cable/satellite is only available in the living room (I personally did not care but my father likes to watch tv in his room so just an FYI). All the rooms do have a tv and DVD player (although one room's was missing) but you can bring and also get movies from the owner for the entire time you are there. The property is twice gated but there does not appear to be a safety issue anyway - we ventured out all over the island. I would recommend renting a car and despite horror stories, we did rent and it was dirt cheap for 10 days (200) and we had no issues whatsoever. The property was cleaned and well maintained - Debbie and Marino are both helpful. There is also wireless internet however, it works best in the kitchen/sitting room right outside of it and not the whole house. One of the final things is bugs - mosquitoes/gnats were an issue, likely due to the heat/humidity, so buy/bring off refills (they have lanterns) and spray. We noticed when we were leaving there was some kind of bug away contraption in the closet but alas it was too late. I would recommend this Villa to anyone.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our group of 7 friends loved staying at Les Alizes on our first trip to St. Martin. We thought the villa was lovely and the view was spectacular. Debbie and Marino kept the house and the grounds in great shape and were available to answer our questions. Though completely quiet and private, the villa's location just off the main road meant quick and easy access to nearby Porto Cupecoy and Maho on the Dutch side (as well as the airport) and wonderful dining in Marigot and Grand Case on the French side. We highly recommend Les Alizes!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.

The minute you arrive at the gate, you realize that you have rented one of the most beautiful homes in St Maarten. I think I stood in the front yard for ten minutes just taking in the lush gardens, not to mention the flamboyant trees, which were in full bloom. You are greeted by both Debbie and Marino, the home's staff, and are led up the stairs through the front door. Standing in the foyer, you are blown away by the gentle breeze and the amazing view of Simpson Bay. The view draws you to the back where you want to just drop into the inviting infinity pool. Each of the five bedrooms has their own large bathroom and the largest bed I have ever slept in. The house is decorated handsomely and the objects of art seem like they are museum quality. Debbie and Marino are available daily to assist you, not to mention make your beds and do your laundry! I loved this home and would absolutely give it my highest recommendation.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
