About the owner: We are a family of four, with twelve year old twin girls and this is our family home. We do rent it when we travel, as now, two weeks at a time. This is a family home, beautiful and spacious, and a great place for a Berkeley vacation.
Why the Owner Chose Berkeley:
Berkeley is a walker's paradise. The home is close to UC Berkeley and just above the world famous Gourmet Ghetto and Chez Panisse Resturant. Euclid Avenue is lined with stately sycamore trees with the WPA Rose Gardens just a few blocks away. Tilden Park is a ten minute drive away for long runs or vista walks.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The house has a great warmth to it and comfort. It is large, furnished, and spacious. It is a generous house. It feels as if creativity unfolds here. Built in 1925, the detail and elegant design are part of the Arts and Craft Movement that flourished here at that time. This is a historical architectural zone with beautiful lanes leading down to the gourmet shops.
