To the west, the unit's master bedroom (King bed) and balcony overlooks a nature preserve that offers spectacular sunsets and views of exotic wildlife. There is a Queen bed in one guest room and two Twin beds in the other. The living room and balcony facing east will give you a view of the ocean which is just a short walk away.
The fully equipped kitchen offers the latest in appliances with a comfortable countertop seating for six for casual dining. Or use the glass top dining room table and skirted Parsons chairs for more formal events in the chandeliered dining room. All furnishings are high quality and offer stylish elegance while maintaining a unique beach flavor.
There are TV's in every room with a VCR/DVD player and a stereo with a cassette/CD player in the main living area. The master bedroom includes a jacuzzi tub that will come in handy after a hard day of lounging on the beach or a walk-in shower for a quick clean up to get to the many great restaurants and shops in the area.
You will also have full access to the Clubhouse which includes a beautiful, heated pool and jacuzzi along with a fully equipped exercise room and sauna. It also has a full kitchen with a lounging area where you may entertain guests.
Enjoy a game of ping pong, relax in front of the large screen TV or play cards with your friends and neighbors. Outside, you can play tennis, basketball and shuffleboard or practice your putting on the putting green beside the pool. A community gas BBQ grill is also located beside the pool for all to enjoy!

Our family of four (two adults, 2 kids aged 12 and 9) stayed in this condo for 10 days in July 2009. This was our first experience with renting a condo, and finding a property on VRBO. Everything went perfectly. The owners were very accomadating, answered all our questions, and very friendly. The condo is beautiful!! It is exactly like the photos, and very very clean. It is so spacious, we never felt like we were tripping over each other. The kitchen is very well stocked, and there is plenty of linens,etc. The amenities of Oceanwalk are great, we loved both the pools, clubhouse and the use of beach toys,chairs,etc. The town of New Smyrna is very quaint, and it is a very short drive to great grocery stores, ie. Publix, Foodlion, Walgreens (but we loved Publix, reminded us of "Fortinos" back home!!) New Smyrna is within an hour of the Orlando airport, all the Orlando attractions and the Kennedy Space Centre. Thanks Beth for a great stay, and sorry it took so long for us to write this review!!!

We spent the most relaxing vacation in years at this location. The condo was clean and spacious, so we didn't feel like we were in each other's way or that we had to clean anything before we used it. The pictures did not lie about this unit. We would take a short stroll to the beach in the morning and late afternoon and spend the hotter hours either by the pool or on the balcony keeping up with our friends on Facebook or just checking emails. It is only a couple of minutes drive to several restaurants (Norwoods is one of our favorites) and some nights we just made a quick meal in the well equipped kitchen. I highly recommend this unit to anyone who doesn't want the cramped, smaller units or wants something that feels more like a home. You definitely get what you pay for here!!
