  We took our young kids skiing at Northstar and wanted something more than a hotel room; and boy did we get it. This condo was a home away from home, perfect for our family of four. If your main purpose is to go skiing, you couldn't ask for more. The location is in the Village at Northstar, steps away from the Gondola to take you up the mountain, and also steps from the skating rink and all the restaurants. It was on the first floor so you just walk right in. Parking was very convenient and easy. This whole area felt pretty secure, since no one without a key card could enter. My wife used the fitness room and liked it. We used the ski lockers which were very convenient. Overall, this was a great place. I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in taking a family up to Tahoe to go skiing. You can probably have fun in the summer too. Mary Ann the owner was very responsive and accommodating. Thanks for a great time. Hope to be back soon.

  We've rented this unit more than once. There are many nice places in the Northstar Village and this has all of the features one would expect (washer/dryer, heated floors, good fireplace, etc.). We've rented a variety of units in the Village and there are several things we like about this place versus other options: The location can't be beat, including proximity to the gondola, the hot tubs, and the ticket office. It's a great size and layout for our family of four (King for mom and dad, 2 twins for the kids). This is a family unit, not a corporate rental, so there are things families like (games, DVDs, etc.). The kitchen is well stocked, so it's easy to eat in. The owner is extremely easy to work with. We hope to be back, often.

  We had a wonderful time at this condo. It is very beautiful and comfortable. Everything we needed were there. My 7-yrs-old son loved the foot massage machine.:-) It was also great to have the heated tile floor in the master bath. Easy access to everywhere we wanted to go such as Gondola, Ski School, Ticket purchase, Equipment rental, Restaurants, Hot tub and Gym. It was very helpful for our family having a baby. We really recommend this condo to everyone! The owner is very kind and helpful. We are looking forward to coming back this month!

  101 Catamount is a beautiful condo in a perfect location in Northstar Village. It's very nicely appointed, clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. The owner was responsive and great to work with. It was a perfect fit for our family of 5, and I would highly recommend renting this home.

  Not only are the owners very flexible and nice, but this is an outstanding unit in the best location in Northstar. We hope to stay here many times.

  Our family, including two children aged five and three, spent three nights staying at this unit. It was exactly as described, and was a wonderful 'home away from home' for us. Key ++ factors 1) the bedroom set up is perfect for families - with one king and two twin beds, 2) the use of 'shared' space is optimized - comfy chairs for reading, a proper dining set for mealtimes and floor area for the children to play games, 3) the bathrooms and kitchen are fitted, and furnished, to an excellent standard - the utility of 2.5 baths (including a large tub) and fully equipped kitchen are ideal. A big bonus (for those possibly with children or whose mobility is limited) is direct access to a patio, rather than a balcony. The property was clean and is obviously well cared for. The owners are very responsive and accommodating, in addition to being thoughtful and considerate of their guests. We hadn't been to the Tahoe ski area for some time and were very impressed overall by the facilities at Northstar. We would absolutely recommend this property to visitors and are already 'penciled' in for next year!

  Our family thoroughly enjoyed this beautifully decorated jem of a condo in Northstar. You walk right out your front door into the village and never have to leave. The 5 star condo has everything you would need. Fully stocked kitchen, linens, towels, and very very clean! The two separate bedrooms/bathroom was perfect for our family. Highly recommend this condo! We will be staying here every year as it is now a yearly family tradition.

  This condo is amazing!!!! We loved it. We will definitely come back. It is located right in the village. Ski in and out. It's cleen, comfortable, very well furnished. It feels like home. The owners are very fair, pleasant and easy to work with!

  We had such a great time at this condo in Northstar. It was very quite which ensured a restful night of sleep after a hard day of skiing. There was plenty of room for four adults and two children. The condo is beautiful and well maintained, we could not have asked for a nicer and more convenient place to stay. We were steps from the gondola and the many amenities that Northstar Village offered. The furnishings are beautiful and the kitchen is well equipped. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious; the beds are very comfortable. The bathroom floors have radiant heat, which is great. There is a flat screen in the living room and each bedroom, complete with the latest entertainment system components. We liked the fact that it was a main floor unit and our grandchildren could play in the snow outside the back door within a large protected area. A big plus of staying in this condo is that the hot tub and workout facility are located within the Catamount unit. We (especially the grandchildren) really enjoyed the hot tub after an enjoyable day of skiing. We have stayed at several Northstar Village condos during the past three years and this is our favorite. We will definitely stay here again. The owners are very pleasant and accommodating --another big plus.
