Great family-friendly cottage on the ocean side of Atlantic Ave. on 65th Street in the north end of Virginia Beach. It's a short walk to the beach with no streets to cross. Most of the summer residents on 65th Street own their homes so the beach has a friendly, neighborhood feel.
The entrance to Seashore State Park is one block away on 64th Street. Its a great place for running, walking and biking and a has a beautiful beach on the Narrows of the Lynnhaven River.
We completely renovated the house during the winter of 2010-2011 with new floors, paint, beds and furnishings.
Beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, roll-eez cart all provided.

Clean and well equipped house, located a very short walk from the beach. The house is north of the Boardwalk in a quiet residential neighborhood and the beach is fantastic. This was our first time at Virginia Beach and we had a blast, and the house really worked out well for us. We had there a relaxed and not too busy beach with the hustle of the Boardwalk just a few minutes drive away. The owner was very helpful but not obtrusive and our stay was a real pleasure.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children.

great accommodations for the price--landlord available, friendly, and helpful. Beautiful beach in close walking distance as well as state park for nature walksRecommended for: Families with young children.

My family and I stayed for 3 weeks at this property. The property was clean, well maintained and in an excellent location close to the state park and just a few houses down from the beach. The owners were friendly, helpful and this worked out great for our needs. Appreciated the washer and dryer greatly when near a beach setting.Recommended for: Families with young children.

My wife and 4 children had a wonderful time at this vacation rental on 65th Street. It was neat, clean and cozy inside the cottage. There were no streets to cross with the kids to get to the beach. The best part was that it was on a quiet street but only a few minutes by car to get to the boardwalk area. If you stay here, biking or hiking through the State Park on 64th Street is a must!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
