Why the Owner Chose Mackinaw City
We were actually walking in the Labor Day Mackinaw Bridge Walk and then spent the day on Mackinac Island. When taking the Mackinac Island ferry back to Mackinaw City we drove past the new condos being built at the Shores of Mackinaw in Sept 2001 and simply fell in love with this Luxury Condominium Complex located on the Shores of Lake Huron directly facing Mackinac Island and also a spectacular view of the Mackinaw Bridge. It doesn't get any better than this in Mackinaw City!
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
Our condominium has a wonderful and informative conceirge service. Our condo is within walking distance of a heated swimming pool with a spectacular view of Lake Huron and Mackinac Island. Bonfires on the beach every evening during the summertime are the norm. Excellent view of the 4th of July fireworks from our beach every year. Golfing at the Mackinac Club is always enjoyable. We can walk to the Mackinac Island ferries, the lighthouse, beaches, Fort Michilamackinac & visit great restaurants and shops. We can drive to St. Ignace Casino, Tahquamenon Falls, Lex Cheneaux Islands, Sault St. Marie, Drummond Island and only an hour away from Petoskey's excellent shopping atomosphere.
From our condo you can walk to the Ferry docks and take a 15 minute ferry ride to Mackinac Island for a wonderful trip back in time!

Labor Day Weekend 2007, 50th year of the Bridge Walk!!!! Dear Maria, Lovely location. Upon our arrival we quickly unpacked with pleasure in our choice. We then walked out to the pool area and became instant friends with some of the neighbors, whom have us nearly convinced to buy here. We shall see. We are happy to have found you through V.R.B.O. Enjoyable Visit!!

What a beautiful place! The accomodations could not have been more perfect for our family. Our 3 1/2 year old was telling both family and new acquaintences that "we moved!" We wish! We had all of the conveniences of home and then more. We loved playing in the sand daily, swimming in the pool, grilling, enjoying the views, and going on our daily adventures in the areas surrounding. Very relaxing, and our best vacation ever. We are sad to leave and hope to return!

We visited here last year when friends stayed at the Shores-we decided to stay this year. Maria, we so enjoy your condo. Thanks so much for opening your condo to us. The view is spectacular and we love the pool and beach. On this trip north we saw four of the five Great Lakes-Erie, Huron,Michigan and Superior! The favorite restaurant this trip was Fisk-the Tempura was excellent. We also enjoyed the Red Flannel in the UP. Great condo, great trip, sad to be going home :-(

Our 2nd stay at the Shores. Everything was as expected. We enjoy the quiet and privacy. We were both able to bike the 8.2 miles around the Island, which was our goal. The hiking, biking trail across ST Rd 23 was great exercise. Entry on Stimpson Rd about 200 yards North of Condo. Easy ride to town.

Beautiful condo, it was a great location for the activities we planned. We spent a couple of days on Mackinac Island, golfed at the Mackinac Club, watched a great fireworks display on the 4th from the park in the city, toured the Shipwreck Museum in the UP and found some great beaches on both lakes Michigan and Superior. The restaraunts in town and on the island were both good and accomodating for our 3 year old son. The weather was great, daytime highs were in the upper 6o's and low 70's, this was a treat coming from the humid 90's found in the Ohio Valley! We will come back, Thanks again!

We were told the weather would be in the mid 70's and it was in the mid 80's all week. No rain and was perfect for swimming in the great pool. This was a relaxing way to spend 4 days-wish we had longer! The condo is beautiful and at this time of year there was only a few people here. It was like having the pool and place to ourselves. If we ever come back-and I hope we will-this will be where we want to stay. Thank you for a relaxing and beautiful vacation! p.s. The bed was so comfortable!!
