This bay side community is an ideal family or sportsman's get-away! This community is located on the Texas Gulf Coast between Port Lavaca and Palacios in a great bayside community called Schicke Point, so named for the family that originally settled there. The community is near the mouth of Caranchua Bay which feeds into the Matagorda Bay system...an area that is synonymous with fishing on the Gulf Coast! It's a friendly atmosphere with many of the property owners having been "raised going to Schicke Point" with their parents or grandparents. Sunset finds many folks on their golf carts at the dock of the bay watching the sunset! Relax, play, fish, boat... it's an amazing place to unwind!
