Then return for a Pina Colada in our 50 foot infinity pool while watching the most exotic sunsets on earth. Have our own cook prepare your catch of the day or head out to one of a fantastic international collection of local restaurants. Come home for a cognac; some soft jazz, or catch a movie in the media room, before retiring to bed, the sounds of waves far below lulling you to sleep. Southern Costa Rica's Pacific coast is the country's last frontier, still free of crowds of tourists, crime & hassles. No time-share salesmen, no T shirt shops, only friendly locals who go out of their way to welcome you to their Garden of Eden. You can stroll on deserted beachs, take a skiff into the huge mangrove eco-system of the Terraba river to spot some of the 450 types of local birds. We are 5 miles south of the Ballena Ocean Park, & we look out over the northern tip of the Corcovado National Park, the worlds largest Pacific rain forest, home to Jaguars, tapirs, & 7% of all the worlds species.The Castillo itself offers a huge dinning room table that seats 16, or several intimate tables under the stars by the pool. There are five bedrooms in the main villa & two more in a separate guest house.
