Our comfortable screened lanais offer a great place for a romantic dinner or to begin your day while taking in the colorful and lush tropical plants surrounding the properties. Or view the Gulf of Mexico from the South Seas condo. It is a great place to entertain or relax.
The homes are just a two-minute walk to the beach and the docks on the bay. The condo is beach front. These villas offer every convenience you would expect of an exclusive beach resort including private or community pools, and some have tennis.

CAPTIVA BREEZE ~ (photos 2-9) is our luxury 4 bedroom, 4 bath Old Florida style home with over 4000 sq ft of living area. It is a new home (built in 2003) and has a private pool and spa. Captiva Breeze is located on Wightman Lane, Captiva Island, a short stroll to either the beach of village. It offers granite kitchen counter tops, French doors, several porches, an elevator so it is wheelchair accessible, a Captains walk (roof sun deck) with partial views of the bay and Gulf of Mexico, WiFi INTERNET ACCESS and many extras. (sleeps 2-10).
CAPTIVA CUTIE COTTAGE (photos 1, & 10-12) ~ 3 Bedroom/2 Bath ~ is our charming, deluxe, private home on Laika Lane in the heart of Captiva's village. It offers a screened lanai and new private heated swimming pool with spa. The lush tropical landscaping offers a private setting for this cottage that has been referred to as "cute as a button."
Captiva Cutie is on one level which makes it convenient for many families. Laika Lane is one of the most desirable private streets in the village area - so the location is ideal. It is the essence of the "Olde Florida" charm. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The main bath has a Jacuzzi. The new master bedroom suite with bath offers a queen bed and a remote cable TV. The other bedrooms have a queen bed and two twins, respectively, and there is a queen sleeper sofa. This home is decorated in a fun tropical theme complimented by Mexican tile and wall to wall carpeting. (Sleeps 2-8) wireless HIGH SPEED INTERNET IS AVAILABLE AT THE HOUSE.
SOUTH SEAS PLANTATION (photos 13 & 14) BEACHFRONT 1,2 and 3 bedroom condos with breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico - amazing sunsets! - and instant beach access. (Sleeps 2-4-6-8 depending on the home/condo.) BEACH HOMES, BEACH VILLAS, BEACH COTTAGES, BAY VILLAS AND MARINA VILLAS are available. Bedding varies by property. Heated pools and tennis (possible court time fee) are available. (You are not renting through the resort so some amenities may not be available: golf, kid camp, main pool and inside restaurants.) Pricing is significantly lower when renting privately.
SUNSET CAPTIVA (photo 15) ~ 2 & 3 Bedroom (some with loft) PRIVATE homes with community two tennis courts & a heated swimming pool. The one featured is a 2 bedroom with a loft & 2 bath spacious home which features a living room with cathedral ceiling, a screened lanai, and second floor private sun deck and is tastefully decorated in fun primary colors with a tropical flair. Enjoy a romantic nightcap or sun bathe during the day on the cozy sundeck or screened lanai. An ideal "home away from home" location! (Sleeps 1-6 or -8 in the 3 bedroom) Some homes are BEACHFRONT. Boat rentals, parasailing, jet-ski rentals, as well as sightseeing, nature, and sunset cruises are within walking distance. Bike paths are found on both Captiva and Sanibel. Golf is available at your choice of two 18-hole courses, the Dunes and Beachview, just 20 minutes away on nearby Sanibel Island. Tennis is also available on site for Sunset Captiva and South Seas Plantation. It is available at the Dunes or Beachview for other guests.

"...We just returned yesterday from a week in the Captiva Cutie. We were so pleased with the house, the island, everything! We have rented many places all over the east coast and this was by far the best. Its immaculate, wonderfully decorated (I love the stenciling/painting done along the doorways, the tile work, and much much more) It was simply a tropical paradise and was so hard to leave....."

"...We indeed LOVED Captiva Cutie...delightfully decorated, gracious, well-equipped, comfortable...everything we want in a vacation home. It was great having the pool in the early morning, after the "long" walk back from the beach, and for relaxing late at night. We all managed to find time during the day to "check in" on the laptop, so we didn't feel TOO guilty about being away. The house is spacious enough for 5 adults to never be in each other's way, yet has such a homey, cozy feeling about it. One night we hosted a 'family reunion' dinner for relatives staying in the area - 6 of us dined in the kitchen, and the 6 younger adults ate on the lanai...all perfectly comfortable....Thanks again for sharing your special place."
