No details have been forgotten in decorating and furnishing this home. The living room has views of the ocean, a stone fireplace, an extremely comfortable couch and a large TV. It also has a nice desk area for writing out your postcards or surfing the internet for the best restaurant in the area. The good news is that there is a separate den/media room with a very large flat screen TV so if one person wants to read in the living room while the other watches TV in the den, no problem.
Now the best part – the kitchen and dining area are in one large room that is adjacent to both the living room at one end and the media room at the other. Should you need to be working on dinner but that big sports event is on – don’t worry! The kitchen/dining area has a 55-inch TV so you won’t have to miss a single play. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you could possibly need to prepare your meals including an extensive selection of spices. All the kitchen appliances are high-end stainless steel models, including a gas stove and oven, a trash compactor, a refrigerator with ice and water available in the door and a microwave. The big kitchen island and counters are done in beautiful granite and provide plenty of space for multiple cooks. A high chair is provided for the little one.
This home has 1 master bedroom suite with a king size bed and is located at one end of the house near the living room. The second bedroom can either be a bedroom with twin beds or a bedroom with a king size bed at the back of the house allowing for a lot of privacy if your are two couples. The configuration is your choice. All the bedrooms have blackout blinds for sleeping in or enjoying an afternoon nap. The master bedroom is very spacious with a TV and private bathroom. The second king size bedroom also has a TV with a bathroom adjacent to it. If you choose to use the twin bed bedroom, there is also a bathroom adjacent to it. The beds are new and good quality to ensure that you get a good night’s rest. The bathrooms are decorated with beautiful tile and natural stone and are stocked with luxury towels.
Since most people visit the Central Coast to enjoy the beautiful ocean breezes and the great outdoors, you will enjoy the brick patio area in front of the house, so be sure to plan some time to hang out there and enjoy the ocean view and the beautiful landscaping that surrounds you. If you want a bit more privacy, there is also an enclosed patio where you can hang out and swap stories while the grill-meister of the group works his magic using the large, top-of-the-line Weber gas grill.
Of course what really matters is how easy it is to get to the beach! Just take a short walk (1 small block) and you are at the beach access entry. Once you are there, it is a quick few steps through the dunes on a well-trodden path and you are on the never-ending Morro Strand beach that stretches from Morro Rock to the Cayucos Pier with views beyond to Montana de Oro state park and the Harmony Headlands.

Our family of 7 stayed for three nights in early June, 2012. The house was perfectly clean and well stocked with everything one needs for a family vacation-towels, sheets, pillows, 6 TVs, pots, pans, utensils, plates, cups, etc. There are labels and instructions so that you can figure out how to use all appliances and TVs. The TVs even have HDMI input so that you can watch videos off the internet on a laptop computer-very entertaining. The homeowners have been meticulous about maintaining the house-no pealing or dirty paint, clean windows, etc. In fact, they have the windows cleaned once a week and gardening service weekly. There are tons of windows so the house has tremendous light and openness yet shades that easily close when away or at night. A washer and dryer as well as a dishwasher make for an "at home" feeling. The house is even nicer and more inviting than the website portrays. The property is easy to access from the highway and there is very little in the way of local traffic. It is one block from the beach and a nice walk to the bay and its attractions. We will recommend this property to any and all who are interested in a house at Morro Bay.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, people with disabilities.

My family and I have rented over 25 different vacation rental homes over the years and found this home to be one of the top two or three. We will definitely rent it again as we visit the Central Coast twice a year. This home has been beautifully renovated with attention to every detail. It surpassed our expectations. It was very clean and well maintained. It has everything for a very comfortable, relaxing vacation and is within minutes of a great beach...the beach was uncrowded every time we went down. We also enjoyed just sitting out on the front deck and watching the ocean from the house. There is also a lovely view of Morro Rock from the living room. What a perfect location!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+.

The property was lovely. It had been recently remodled and the attention to detail was notable. We stayed over Thanksgiving for 5 days with our grown children and their spouses. The proximity to the beach made for many memorable walks, and stunning views. The proximity to other acivities such as biking, surfing and hiking was excellant. If you have opportunity to get away this is the place! We just celebrated our daughter’s graduation from Cal Poly in this beautiful home. The house is more than what we expected! Our family and friends were in awe of the home inside and out and quite a few people stated the pictures on VRBO do not do the home justice! The home is much roomier than the pictures reflect! Sitting in the front room or on the front patio, you have views of the ocean and Morro Bay Rock. The kitchen was set up with everything I needed to entertain our family and friends for an afternoon luncheon! Loved it!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
