We enjoyed our stay @ Indian Shores. The condo is very clean and well decorated. My only disappointment was whenever I wanted to sit outside for fresh air (facing the parking lot) all I could smell was cigarette smoke from the neighbors who smoked on the balcony. I would suggest that Barefoot Resort owners work towards a "Smoke-free" property (including the pool area). Is a quiet resort and the landlords are very accomodating and eager to please.

Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We Had a great time. This Condo look just like the pictures. This place was close to the pool and the beach access. The pool was nice, never crowded. The condo had everything we need and was perfect for us! Thank for a wonderful stay!

Had a wonderful time with our children and our mother while staying here! We have stayed in about four different units at Barefoot Beach Resort and this was by far the best decorated and beautiful unit. The futon was perfect for our four year old daughter and plenty of room for the rest of u to be close, but not cramped! Thanks so much for opening your vacation home to us and I am sure we will be back again. Highly recommend visiting in October. Not too hot nor too crowded.

Booked this condo for 4 nights starting 8th of July 2012. Pictures shown on this site do not do it justice. Unit is beautiful and clean and very calming and beachy. Stayed her with two teenagers with one of them sleeping on the futon. Pool is also relaxing and well kept. Nice and quiet place to stay. Beach access was great and beach chairs from the condo were just perfect. Next time, would love to stay the whole week if my kids had not wanted to visit the theme parks. Jill is great to deal with. What can you say, highly recommend staying here. Hope to come again real soon; will try another time of year as afternoon storms in July is kind of disappointing but not the condo.

We had a wonderful stay. Thanks for everything! We snorkeled on the sandbar at the beach, ate at some great restaurants and watched a Rays baseball game! It was awesome to come back and relax in this great condo! We look forward to staying here again!

The condo was immaculately clean. The beach themed decor was done in very good taste, and the furnishings were very well appointed. The sun room was a terrific bonus for our kids as their "refuge" to have their space and have their giggles. The kitchen was very well equipped and the amenities were all very well thought out. We did not get to enjoy the pool since it was closed for deck resurfacing, but with the beach literally steps away, it really was a non factor for us. Dealing with the owners was quite a refreshing experience. Jill was a delight to deal with; always polite and accommodating. She made the whole process very easy. When she found out that the pool was going to be closed for more than the one day she originally thought, she called me immediately and informed me so that if this was a big deal for us, we could cancel without any issues. Being forthcoming and upfront in this fashion definitely shows strong moral character and I appreciated it very much. Kind of restores your faith in humanity. Bob was also very kind and helpful. His recommendation for the Salt Rock Grill was a 10. This certainly did not feel like a transactional experience. We look forward to coming back as we tend to take several long beach weekend breaks a year. THANK YOU :)

Superb condo. My sister and I went down to meet some family & friends at the same resort and our unit was much nicer than theirs. This unit is very well maintained, comfortable and decorated beautifully. They have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable, beach chairs, towels, even an umbrella! The mattress on the futon was very comfy not flimsy like most futons. The owners were a breeze to work with and we will definitely be back again. Don't hesitate to book this unit, you won't be disappointed.

We so enjoyed a lovely week at your condo by the sea. This is a beautifully decorated unit and so super clean. The location cannot be beat with the beautiful white sandy beach just steps away. We will especially miss our evening ritual of gaterhing on the beach to view the most amazing sunsets!

Dear Jill and Bob, We loved your beach condo! It's the best decorated unit in the whole complex. We had a lovely Christmas. We took pictures of your beautiful Christmas tree and we showed it to all our friends. We all want Jill to decorate from now on! Everyone has already said it, but this is an absolutely beautiful vacation condo! Jill has gone out of her way to make sure every last detail has been taken care of so that her guests are comfortable. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach and fine dining. We loved it!!! The condo is comfortable and spacious for a family of four, well-decorated, and stocked with all of the provisions that we needed during our stay. The beach access was very convenient; just cross the street, take a few steps, and pick your spot. The owners have provided beach towels, two chairs, and an umbrella for leisure at the beach. We also enjoyed the pool area, which was well-maintained and clean. Behind the pool is the intercoastal waterway with the fishing docks, which is where we would find my husband each morning. We could literally watch him reel in the fish while we were in the pool.; my daughter even kept a rod going while she ran back and forth between the pool and the dock. The overall atmosphere of the condo/resort is quiet, family friendly, and not overcrowded. The rates were excellent; our stay was worth every cent. We had a great time as a family, and we will definitely consider returning to this condo for future vacations.

When looking for a place to stay near where our family would be staying, we had no idea just how close we were to them. Everything about the "beach house" was picture perfect. Our family came over and admired the clever decor. The pictures on the website let us know how things would be, but it was so very much "friendlier" in person. There was excellent correspondence with the owners before arriving and after we checked in. While we didn't participate in the many activities in the area or use any of the multiple amenities onsite, there is much to do within a very short distance. We have been to this area many times over the years, but have never stayed in such a comfortable and well-stocked property. Hopefully, we can return next year. Thanks so much to our hosts, Jill and Bob.

OMG!!!!! This place exceeded any and all of our expectations....My girlfriend and I stayed here and not only is it a beautiful place but very spacious...immaculate and peaceful. There were movies for us to watch, books to read and all the amenities any traveling people could find to make you feel at home.The landlord was a beautiful woman who made our trip as uncomplicated as possible.She directed us to all the shopping areas and restaurants and provided us with telephone and cable,The pool is spectacular and the beach directly across the street. The condo is on the intercoastal which was just as spectacular. I highly recommend this beach condo to everyone!!!!! I will def share this experience with my friends and we will be back!!!!!!!

We are very please with having stayed at this condo. It is so clean and comfortable. There isn't anything we needed that wasn't here. The beds are comfortable and clean. We had 2 adults and 2 kids and had more than enough room. The pool is big and not overly crowded. The beach is very close, in fact, we walked less to get to it than other condos we have stayed in that are on the beach. The property is very nice and safe. The owner was very helpful in answering all questions and even phoned to check on us while we were here. I would recommend this condo to others.

I have stayed at this property twice now and also recommended friends who have stayed there. This past weekend was another amazing stay at this condo/resort. Everything is so beautiful and decorated so nicely and all amenities you could want are stocked. Beach towels, chairs, umbrella, etc....The owners are nice and responsive and take good care of you if needed. Can't beat the location, beach right across the street, great pool on site and you can watch the boats and draw bridge on the intracoastal at the back of the resort. Highly recommend anyone to stay here. 5 stars for sure. Already checking to book the next time. Al

We stayed at this condo over Labor Day Weekend 2010. It is pretty and spacious. There is only one bedroom but it is well appointed. There are two pull out couches - one in the living room and one in the den. Jill and her husband supplied all we needed and made sure they were available to answer any questions. The only downsides I would say is that condo doesn't really have a view and there is no outside area with table and chairs that you can use (condo rules I assume). Apart from that - it was a great vacation.

This condo on Indian Shores is beautiful and very comfortable. Our family really enjoyed the nautical/beach decor' and especially loved being so close to the beach. It is a short walk and the pool is nice too. The dock on the intercoastal is great for sipping wine in the evenings. We would love to stay here again!

"My husband and I spent 9 days at Barefoot Beach Resort with our infant son. Having never been to the area before, we were totally reliant on our host and owner of our rental unit, Jill. She was my local guidebook before I even got there! As soon as I mentioned that we were bringing a baby with us she reassured us that she could provide all the basic baby essentials so that we wouldn't have to bring or rent any bulky items. She provided us with a high chair and a play pen and offered much more. Upon our arrival we noticed that there was no phone, which we were counting on as we had to run our Canadian business from a southern state. As soon as I told Jill about it she came the next day to install a phone line which gave us unlimited long distance calling and a nicely upgraded cable package. Now that's service! Our stay in Indian Shores was a wonderful time. Everyone was friendly, everything was clean, the weather was perfect and the views were amazing! The private beach access was handy as it saved us lugging our beach gear for miles. Instead, we just crossed the street and there was the beach! I couldn't have asked for a better stay! I would go back in a heartbeat and Jill would be my first call!"
