  This end unit townhouse was great. If there is snow, ski in/out is definitely an option, but I would recommend intermediate skiers and above attempt it. Unit had new flatscreens TVs throughout and decent furniture. Our 4 kids slept in the loft, which is sort of attached to one of the master bedrooms. That was a great set up for us. You can't beat the view of deep creek lake from this house. Sitting in the hot tub and looking over the lake and watching skiers go by is hard to beat. Only drawback was one of that master bedroom toilets was weak and required plunging a couple times. They could also use a blender for the kitchen. I will email both of these suggestions to the owner, who seems very accommodating.

  We just got back from our stay in WISP and we had a fantastic stay and experience. The place is very large on multiple levels so everyone can spread out and it was clean and nicely decorated. The views are fantastic, the hot tub was great and the Ski In / Ski Out was so convenient. The kids were even sledding right out back! We will definitely rent this place again and cant wait till our trip next year.

  Our 3 generational family group had a great time enjoying this condo. Boy kids were in the DS dorm area (2 bunks, sofa, TV, instant access to the hot tub). Girls grabbed the loft. All loved the ready access to the slopes, could go back & forth for cocoa breaks, etc. Kitchen was well equipped, hot tub clean & sparkling. We all felt comfortable. Thanks, Rick, for your great vacation spot. We'll be back!

  Every year I put together a family trip usually somewhere warm but decided to do a trip back to ski country. We had a great time at this property truly a Ski in and out right next to the trail. I think we used all amenitys this property had to offer especially the hot tub. The area had a lot to offer also, from ice skating, snow shoeing to mountain coaster so you don't have to just be a skier to love this area. The management company of this property is very responsive. We had a problem with the dryer and they had a new one delivered and installed the next day. Don't hesitate to book this one great value and plenty to do year round.

  We enjoyed our stay at the condo in the Villages at Wisp. The location was great for ski-in/ski-out feature although we were unable to utilize it because Wisp Resort did not have Chairlift #5 operating the entire time we were there. But that was not the fault of the condo association. The condo itself was clean upon our arrival and very adequately accommodated our needs in terms of space. Having three full bathrooms was super for having a large group. The furniture was a little worn out, the sofa needs mending and some of the kitchen chairs were falling apart. But there was ample seating for everyone during mealtimes. The hottub is a great feature for guests in the winter months. The loft area was nice, but future renters should be aware that in order to access the loft one has to scale a very narrow winding staircase. It's not a real issue only one should be aware. There was a fireplace and the renter had plenty of wood available for use. Also, if one is considering renting the condo during the same of the year as our group around the New Year period, please be aware that Wisp Resort no longer have fireworks on New Year's Eve. I guess the new owners don't have the money for that sort of thing. Also, the road to access the condo involves a rather steep uphill climb. The maintenance staff could have done a better job of clearing and spreading material on the surface to improve traction. Apart from the these minor issues, I would highly recommend this condo. I believe the condo was good value for the price we paid.

  We enjoyed staying at this property and we would stay here again; great location, quiet, and comfortable. We knew from the listing that the house did not have AC and there were a few nights/days when AC would have been nice BUT AC or no AC, we would rent from this owner again. Oh, my kids loved the hot tub, lake views and instant access to the ski slope, for a nice hike to the top of Whisp. We enjoyed Swallow Falls, boating, hiking and whisp activities. Good time.

  What a great place! Nicely appointed 3 level townhouse with loft. As a family of five we had plenty of room. It was very hot during our stay but the house cooled down nicely at night even though it didn't have a/c. This was our second time at Deep Creek Lake and we definitely enjoyed ourselves more at this house than we did the year before at a different house. We even watched the Fourth of July fireworks from the Balcony (provided by Wisp)! All in all, a very positive experience.

  This home was extremely cozy and comfortable. Although we weren't able to utilize the ski in/ski out feature due to a lack of open trails, the drive to the lodge was very quick! We got 18 inches of snow during our stay and enjoyed hot tubbing (with a beautiful view of the lake) after a great day on the slopes. The sleeping arrangements were perfect for our group of 10 and the owners were kind, responsive, and accommodating. We plan to stay here again and again!
