This apartment is located on boulevard de la Chapelle in the 10th arrondissement a few minutes walking distance from the Gare du Nord and the Basilique Sacre Cœur in Montmartre. This neighborhood is known as the Indian quarter and attracts Bollywood fans : the rue du Faubourg Saint Denis is brimming with grocer's shops emitting attractive and exoctic scents, videoclubs, saris and jewells. The passage Brady is known for its delicious Pakistani restaurants. A 10 min walk to Gare du Nord with acces to Eurostar, RER B,D & E and metro lines 4 & 5. Approx. 40 min from Charles de Gaulles with RER B. Close the metro station Chapelle (line 12) with easy access to all major attractions in Paris. We were a group of 6 adults (3 couples) and we found this apartment as advertised. It was spacious enough for the group, facilities were good and the apartment clean, tidy and well maintained. It is a good location for the metro and is easy to nagivate into and out of Paris central. Within walking distance of Sacre Couer. Interesting neighbourhood. The stairs to the third floor are typical for Europe and care is needed, especially if you arrive in the dark but this is a minor point. Closeness to metro means that some people may find the metro a little noisy but nothing to complain about. Liaison with the agent was good and prompt. Would recommend this location and apartment.

This is a spacious, comfortable, well furnished apartment directly across the street from the Chappelle metro stop and a five minute walk from Gare du Nord. The kitchen is well stocked, and we cooked two full meals for our family of five adults. The predominant aroma in this neighborhood is curry, reflecting the strong influence of India. Sacre Coeur is two metro stops away, and with the metro just across the street the apartment offers easy access to sights throughout the city, if you don't mind a bit of a ride on the metro to some of the preferred sites. We had very good interactions with the owner who greeted us, oriented us to the apartment, and was available by email when we had questions during our stay. We recommend this apartment.

Why the Owner Chose Paris Arrondissement 10:
This apartment gives you direct acccess to the Champs Elysees, Montmarte (Pigalle, Sacre Coeur), Pere Lachaise and Parc Monceau - some of the most famous sites in Paris! These locations can be reached direct from the metro station La chapelle, metro line 2, just in front of the apartment. Very convenient. This station also has direct links to Charles de Gaulle and Orly, as it's 5 -7 mins walk from Gare du Nord metro, from where you can take RER B to both airports. Furthermore, Gare du Nord gives you access to metro line 4 and 5 - very good for exploring Paris. For those who want to get to know the less well beaten track, venture to Paris' canal which runs off the Seine from Bastille all the way through the north of Paris, passing nearby this apartment. Take Line 2 one stop to Staligrad and you'll see Canal St Martin. Walk down towards Republique and stroll past lovely cafes and restaurants, very trendy and popular, especially in the Summer time, when you'll see the locals having a picnic along the Canal. Also a good spot for jogging, as the canal side roads are closed off to traffic at the weekend.
