it was clean & decorated cute. didn't have a mircowave as advertised , didn't have a smoke or fire detectors & short on things to cook with, bought us a skillet,since other in bad condtion, no extra pillows or blankets so we went bought blanket, got us couple large coffee mugs & needed to have iron & board, the beds didn't have anything soft over the mattresses. the bath had a new sink & toilet, shower was a set back after alll the other new things had been put in,have to be short & skinny. had nice washer & dryer & loved the front porch & close to the lake & place to eat. neighbors are nice. doubt if we'd come back.Recommended for: Families with young children.
Owner response: First of all this couple stained my brand new bedroom carpet and never said a word to me about it. They also changed my dining room table insert and never put it back right and lost the screws that hold the table underneath. As far as microwave and blankets, I have pleanty of them and even though I spoke with this couple several times throughout their stay ... they never once asked me for more blankets or the microwave. I have added several pans to kitchen since.

We come to Lake Weir every July 4th weekend but have never had such an adorable cottage like this one to stay in. The others in area were old and musty. Our family came here for a long weekend and had the greatest time. The kids loved walking over to the lake and I loved being able to see them the whole time.
