  Just got back from spending five nights in Galveston. We really enjoyed the house. It is exactly as listed. The house itself is very nice, clean, and well maintained. We really loved sitting out on the large deck and grilling. The ocean is very close although it is across the street. It really is not a problem and takes less than two minutes to walk over. The home is a good 20 minutes from Galveston but that is not a problem in my opinion at all. I really enjoyed that there were not a ton of people on the beach around us. Elias, the property manager was very helpful and easy to deal with. If you are looking for a nice rental for the week, this is a great property. My only complaint is that there is no Wi-Fi available. If you have a smart phone this isn't a problem but I am only one step above a bag cell phone at this point in time. Otherwise, I do not have a single other complaint.

  We had a wonderful 6 nights here. Everything looks exactly like the pictures show. I will list the Pro's-2 stereos, the master bed is very comfortable and the room is huge!, the decor is great in the livingroom, dining and kitchen, the air-conditioner set at 74 is very cold, the washer and dryer were great...esp the dryer which is an Amana (my daughter wants this very one because it dries fast), the extra fridge downstairs to store drinks, and the porch swing. I don't have alot of Con's but here are a few-no master closet or dresser to store clothes, some of the electrical outlets do not work, an upgrade on thread count sheets for the additional bedrooms would be nice, also a pitcher for making tea or kool-aid, also WI-FI would be great. I would stay here again even without those items.

  If you are looking for a nice place to get away from the over crowded beachs and just relax this is the place! Very nice location with its short walk to a quite stretch of the beach.The large deck is great for setting and enjoying the sights and sounds of the ocean. House is nicely furnished and the kitchen is fully equipped and even has spices and condiments. The down stairs bonus room is a great kids hangout with A/C, fridge and a restroom . The owner and cleaning staff are great to work with. Thanks for nice vacation getaway.

  We had a great time at this gorgeous beach house! It was perfect for the number of adults and kids in our party and we didnt feel cramped or on top of each other at all. The house is very well kept and had all the amenities that we needed. The outdoor deck is great for just sitting outside and chilling or grilling some burgers and then having s'mores for dessert :) The community pool and marina are also an added bonus! I would highly recommend this house for a family looking for a reasonably priced spot in Galveston. Here are some pros and cons: Pros: Plenty of space (3 bedrooms upstairs) and then another whole area downstairs including a half bathroom, spacious and clean kitchen, nice living and dining room, great deck, Direct TV and DVR (kids were happy during downtimes), community pool and marina, plenty of parking space (2 long driveways), great price! Cons: location (it's quite a drive from the main drag in Galveston so stock up on all the supplies you are going to need), not right on the beach so you need to cross a pretty busy road to get to the beach (we had to drive since we had the young kids with us), not a working clothes dryer (I wish we knew this before we washed clothes in the machine), no wi-fi, killer mosquitoes that kept getting in the house whenever anyone went in and out to the deck. Overall, we were very happy and would definitely stay there again!

  We loved our stay! The house was great, everything we needed to have a wonderful get away for family and friends Memorial Day. Close to the beach, pool and fishing. Thanks for making our vacation a fantastic one!

  Thanks for a lovely home! The house was perfect for my family vacation! Kids love the beach and my parents love the large deck and reclining chairs for relaxing and moon viewing! The house was nicely decorate and have everything that we need for preparing meals in the kitchen. Will be even better if the kids room has a twin over full bunk bed to fit more siblings. Thanks again! Will be back soon!

  All the comforts of home! Plus the beach! Your home is nicely furnished and was great for 5 people. The downstairs would be a nice plus for families with teens............so it went unused during our visit. Although there was no wifi available, we appreciate your taking care of the tv problem so promptly! Thanks again.

  This home is beautiful and spacious. We didnt even know there was a downstairs play are for the kids with a refrigerator and bathroom. A bonus considering we spent most of our time downstairs relaxing. This home has everything needed to enjoy time with family and friends. The upper deck has a wonderful view of the water right accross the street. The chairs were comfortable and my favorite place to be with my coffee in the morning. I will absolutly stay there again! Thank you!

  My family of 7 stayed at the Coco Cabana for our family vacation. It was just lovely. The interior ammenities are better than the pictures show. The updated furnishings made us immediately feel very comfortable. The kitchen was large and spacious, so we were able to make dinner at home most nights. There were beach toys at the home which was nice and the kitchen was stocked with all the utensils and dishes you'll need. The best part of the home is the porch swing and big deck where we sat in the early morning and evenings watching the waves. Its less than 2 minutes from the beach and we walked there every day. The beach was not crowded and we could leave our awning and chairs overnight for less set up the next day. It was also lovely to be out of the hubbub of Galveston. It's about 15 minutes from downtown Galveston so it was close enough but not too close. Charlene is the in-town contact, and she was great. Anything we needed she was able to help. Elias was also great to work with. He called before we left to make sure we didn't have any questions, called once we got there to make sure we were doing okay, and then called after we got home to make sure we had a nice week. We really appreciated his attentive, helpful approach to VRBO. Great job! Also there was a nice Catholic church down the street, so we were able to go to mass. Just a lovely week away! We are so thankful to Elias and his family for opening up their home. Keep up the good work!

  Our family really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful beach house. We have three young children who absolutely loved the cute purple room and the huge porch swing downstairs. The kitchen is amazing and had everything we nedeed to cook. I was so inspired by the decor, I have actually started to get some ideas for my own home! I would just like to thank Elias for sharing his beautiful home with us. We really got to experience a different and quieter part of Galveston.
