Lake House has incredible view of Lake Pokegama! Built in 1998 as a year-round home. 100 feet of lakeshore with sandy bottom. Dock accommodates 2-3 boats. Lake Pokegama has over 6,000 acres and is connected to the Mississippi River via many beautiful lakes. The home is located on the Wendigo Arm of the lake, which is more protected from the weather and large crowds. Fishing in the summer or winter for Walleye, Northerns and Muskies.
The property is located close to the Blandin land, which welcomes hunting, snowmobiles and ATVs on their trails.
Home has large 3-season porch, which was finished in 2000. Large eat-in kitchen with loft overlooking the lake. There are 4 bedrooms, which accommodates 14 renters with 3 queen beds, 3 double beds and 2 twin beds.
You can boat to Pokegama Golf Course, as well as many other golf courses in Grand Rapids,Hill City and Deer River. You can also boat to Zorbaz on the large part of the lake. Grand Rapids offers the Judy Garland Museum, Forest History Center, movie theaters, and the Mesabi Trail for biking or hiking.

We had a wonderful time. Several of us took a couple of hikes on the ice. We cut down a Christmas tree at a tree farm near Blackberry and decorated it. It really looked beautiful. The picturesque view through the windows across the lake was beautiful to wake up to each morning and see for the rest of the day. The snow added to it. Thanks for filling that order. ? The cabin was comfortable and well equipped for our stay. We hope you found it that way. All in all, the week was an idyllic family holiday experience.Did you find this review helpful? Thank you so much for letting us rent your home on Pokegama Lake. We had a wonderful time! Your home is beautiful and the location is perfect. We spent the weekend skiing at Suomi Hills, fishing on the lake, hiking, shopping at Glen's Army and Navy and ice skating. We brought our portable fish house and set it up on the lake and shoveled a skating rink in front of it.
