Map & Owner's Profile
Year Purchased: 2005
Why the Owner Chose Private HomesWe purchased the house in 2005 with a job relocation to Summit County. The house is in such a convenient and nice area that we chose to keep it to come back to when we have the chance. Our children learned to ski when they were ages two and three and became great skiers after a few lessons. Now they have to wait for me!
The Unique Benefits at this HouseThis is a great place to get away from the Texas heat and enjoy the perfect Colorado summer weather! The skiing is unbeatable with nearly six months of great snow and high quality terrain. There is just as much to do in Breckenridge in the summer as there is to do in the winter. Did you know that Summit County is also nicknamed "America's Playground"?

Perfect Mountain Home!

My family stayed in this beautiful mountain home while in Colorado skiing. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! It was very clean, nicely decorated, spacious, and centrally located for all our skiing needs. The kitchen was fully stocked, there were plenty of towels, and the washer/dryer came in handy. We had four teenagers with us who really enjoyed relaxing in the finished lower level after a full day of skiing. My husband and I could relax upstairs in the large living room with spectacular views of the mountains. It was hard to leave those views and return to flat Missouri! Kelly was great to work with, making our stay perfect in every way. We highly recommend this home to you and know you will love it as much as we did. We definitely plan to return on a future trip to CO!

Our family of 4 stayed in this lovely home while taking a long weekend vacation in January. The home is in a fantastic location with easy access to the slopes and to town. 1 of the bedrooms downstairs is perfect for children as there are 2 bunk beds and a reading area in the corner. Our 2 year old loved sitting quietly in this area reading books! The gameroom downstairs is also a perfect hangout for the kids! My only regret is that we didnt have another family to share all that great space with!! The views are amazing from the back windows! It snowed several feet while we were there and it was lovely to watch from inside by the warm stove. The kitchen is large and well equiped...but needs a crock pot! The only other thing missing was a working hot tub, but I would imagine that is up and running by now?! The owners are very kind and easy to work with. We had internet trouble while we were there and they sent someone to fix it immediately! They also made sure the driveway was plowed after several feet of snow one night! Oh and speaking of snow...I reccommend a 4 or all wheel drive vehicle if staying in the winter! We loved this home and it's location and would absolutely stay again on future vacations in Breckenridge!

Our family really enjoyed this spacious home and access to spectacular views! Thanks to their snow plow service on roads & driveway, we made it fine ... even w/our SUV & no chains! The owners were more than gracious, before and after, regarding our rental of their lovely home....they couldn't have made it any easier and couldn't have been more accommodating!!

Our stay in CO was wonderful due to the accomodations at this great mountain home. The open flow of rooms, the amazing mountain views, and the balcony where we enjoyed many a glass of wine all contributed to a relaxing vacation. Because it's a large home, even though we had a lot of friends with us, we never felt crowded. Rick and Nola, Winston-Salem, NC
