A gated, exclusive and private riverfront estate in the heart of Healdsburg, Sonoma County Wine Country. Riverstone Ranch is just 2 miles from historic Healdsburg Plaza, a short drive to 90+ wineries, Lake Sonoma, Old Town Windsor, Sonoma County airport, and an easy drive to the Pacific Ocean.
The estate has gone through a complete renovation in every house, including the Queen Anne, The Coop and the Oak Tree House, as well as the gardens and property grounds and decking.
THE QUEEN ANNE, late 1800s, is a legacy Queen Anne Victorian with 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom suite has fireplace, king bed, and access to the veranda. The two upstairs guest bedrooms each have their own queen bed and bathroom. One has access to its own balcony.
A remodeled gourmet kitchen offers gas cook top and ovens, fireplace, patio access, and dining area.
Walking from the kitchen to the living area, our guests pass a remodeled half bathroom with hand-painted murals, formal dining room, and finally enter the formal living room and drawing room, featuring hardwood floors, sofas and chairs.
The brick patio is extensive with plenty of outdoor seating, gas grill, hot tub, fountain and pond, a beautiful newly sodded lawn, oak and redwood trees, crushed granite walkways, beautiful new decking with river views, and a vintage Sonoma water tower.
THE OAK TREE HOUSE is a storybook cottage with one bedroom featuring a queen bed, a extra room with trundle bed, and one bath. The kitchen has been updated with new appliances and counter tops, and the beloved oak tree still rises from floor to ceiling. Guests will enjoy the circular dining area with glass windows and doors offering vineyard views. There is a deck with table and chairs to relax in the evening or have your morning coffee while listening to the birds and sounds of nature around you.
THE COOP is a charming cottage with two bedrooms, each with its own queen bed and private bath. It has a small kitchen, sitting area, and private deck.
The vacation rental includes The Queen Anne and either The Oak House or The Coop (a total of 5 bedrooms). Or, for groups wishing exclusivity, the entire estate can be rented, which will include conference table and chairs in 'The Office Building' on the estate.
Caveat. Country estates such as this offer guests a unique opportunity to experience the Sonoma Wine Country, but they are not hotels. Agricultural work at nearby vineyards is occasionally noisy and performed at night. You may hear the sound of a wedding at nearby Healdsburg Country Gardens. All the elements of a country estate are present, including deer, foxes, hawks, mosquitoes, bees, wasps, and poison oak. Some areas on the estate are rugged and steep. There is no beach, nor safe access to the river. Children need to be watched at all times.
