Family time is so important as well as the need to escape from the hectic real world.. to relax and rejuvinate! We insist!
The Unique Benefits at this VillaBeach-going is a way of life on St. Simons Island. The ambient climate allows year-round enjoyment, so pick your pleasure: surfing, shelling, sunbathing, jogging, picnicing, fishing, bird watching, volleyball, biking, kayaking or swimming. There are a number of tours such as nature, driving and ghost tours available. There is also over a dozen art galleries in the downtown district that you will enjoy exploring. Drive to the north end of St. Simons Island and visit 1884 Christ Church, located on Frederica Road. Also visit the Epworth by the Sea Christian Conference Center, built in 1880, and the eighteenth-century Fort Frederica National Monument, which also has an interesting museum shop. Visit the 1872 St. Simons lighthouse and museum located in the center of the island. Climb its 129 steps to the top for a spectacular view of Jekyll Island and neighboring islands.

We purchased the villa last year after looking in St. Simons for over a year. We then spent about three months furnishing it and decorating it and now would like to share it with others who love the Island and the Beach. We enjoy it on an occasional weekend (we only live about an hour in a half away). It is such a laid back, relaxing place to visit. You will love it!

This place is absolutely fabulous! The amenities and extras that the owners provide are way over the top. The pictures really do not do this place justice. The short walk to the beach was so convenient. The place is very clean with top quality furnishings, bedding and appliances. The location is great because it is close to the village, the beach and great places to eat. This will definitely not be the last time that we stay here.

This home is breathtaking....very clean, beautiful decor & stocked with every amenity imaginable. The kitchen is fully stocked with whatever your cooking & baking needs may require. There were bikes for our use which saved us having to rent them and the location couldn't be better. I would not stay anywhere else in St. Simons....This home has it all!

Pictures cannot do justice for this house! Our family (four adults & two children) stayed for the holiday week and could not have selected a better rental! The house is beautiful, and includes everything you could want. It truly felt like a home away from home! From the moment you walked through the door, you can appreciate owner's love for their home. Perfect for entertaining or just relaxing on the patio after a day at the beach! The location is perfect for staying at the center of everything! Cannot wait to return - thank you!!

This was one of the best vacation spots that I have been to! Perfect for three couples and a small child, with a short walking distance to beach and village. An added bonus was that they provided bikes and beach essentials for us to enjoy, not to mention a fully stocked kitchen. Thank you to Sue for being great! I am already looking forward to my next trip back!

This was our first family trip to St. Simons (myself, my husband, and two teenagers). We went the week of August 1st, 2011. The temps reached 100 degrees that week. The pictures do not do this place justice. As soon as we walked in my husband said I think we will just stay here and not go back home. It truly was like being at home. They thought of everything down to Q-tips. It was just amazing that they put so much thought into making it feel like home. I had emailed before going to verify what all I needed to bring and they said nothing. She was right. I didn't have to bring anything other than our clothes and food. The elevator was a bonus. It really made it nice after walking or riding bikes which was my favorite part of the whole trip. We rode more at night due to the heat but only rode in our truck 3 times the whole time we were there. Everything is so close. The gym is only 2 miles away, the pool and shops are just down the street, and there are multiple beach accesses. When one side tide was high we would bike down a ways and the tide would be low. Different beach every day! Everything closes early which gives you plenty of family time at night. This place is non commercialized and very laid back. We are already planning our next trip and seeing who else we can bring. Favorite places to go were Crawdaddy's, Beachcombers, and Sweet Shop (went there twice in one day). Very nice place! Exceeded our expectations.

We have stayed in several different vacation properties on St. Simons Island, but none compare to this fabulous villa. Reasonable price...check. Large covered porch to catch the ocean breeze...check. King-size beds and a full bath with each ...check. Really short walk to the beach...check. Big-screen tv's (I know, but husbands demand these)...check. Dining table to seat a crowd (10+)...check. Totally outfitted kitchen...check. Big leather couches...check. Garage filled with beach gear...check. Towels galore...check. I'm sure there is more I should say, but just believe, this is the place to stay on St. Simons.

This is my favorite vacation property I have ever rented. The listing description and pictures were perfect. The property owners have done a great job decorating this beautiful home. They also thought of everything when equipping the house for guests. We loved the comfortable beds, the great floor plan and we really loved the porch! I wouldn't change anything. GREAT location...we can't wait to come back!!

Our first family Christmas spent away from our home in forty years brought us to this beautiful home where we felt totally comfortable in this spacious, beautiful, and well-provisioned condo. Sue could not have been more helpful (or more cheerful) in answering our questions and concerns. Everything was just as it was represented in the description and it exceeded our expectations in every way. It is easy to recommend this property to anyone seeking to stay on St. Simons Island. Our winter stay was lovely and we can only imagine how much more enjoyable a summer (or other season) trip here would be. I can't imagine anyone but a Grinch not having a wonderful time staying here. Thank you, Sue, for everything. It was a memorable time for us. p.s. We ate at CrabDaddies and loved it, but did a lot of 'home-cooking', too.
