Enjoy your meals on the new deck through the French doors off the main living area. The living room features a wall mounted 50 inch flat screen TV, DVD player, iPod dock and CD player. Lounge in the sun at the pool overlooking Duval St., or step out to enjoy the ambiance of four open-air restaurants in the lush tropical plaza (featuring two parrots) just steps from the ground floor elevator. No need for a car, since most desirable destinations will be within walking distance [see some below]. Walk south on Duval St. to relax on South Beach, or north on Duval to enjoy the myriad of day and night life featuring the seemingly endless supply of tropical drinks, live music, open air eateries, art galleries, jewelry & apparel shops and the famous nightly celebration of the sunset at Mallory Square. However, if you desire, there are reasonably priced bicycle, car and scooter rentals within a two minute walk. If you do have a vehicle, one of the benefits of staying at “Caribbean Duval” is a designated parking space at the secure attached garage, just steps from the elevator. [Recommend a weekly bicycle rental, as it is very reasonably priced and bicycle lock racks are found everywhere in Key West].
