  Nice 2 bedroom condo near the slopes of Steamboat. Close to hot tubs. Easy access to the shuttle pick up. Great for a family because you can spread out in the condo. Condo is much nicer than the pictures on VRBO! Clean!

  This two bedroom condo was the perfect place for our recent ski vacation in Steamboat! Excellent location, within walking distance (5-10 minutes) to the main ski base area (Gondola). There is a complimentary shuttle that comes by every 20 minutes if you choose not to walk. (Several of the ski rental places at the base will keep your skis and poles overnight). Warm and inviting, the unit seems as if it has been remodeled recently with very comfortable rustic beds and a large den area with nice big comfy couches for relaxing. A well equipped kitchen and large dining table made for many enjoyable meals and time spent with family. The condo was very clean and well maintained. The owners were extremely nice to work with and communication was very easy. Favorite restaurant in Steamboat was Carl's Tavern on 7th. Very popular (for good reason) so call for reservations. Favorite non-ski activity was trip to Strawberry Park hot mineral springs about 20 minute drive outside of town (need 4 wheel drive in winter).

  This unit has been completely updated with new stainless appliances and a comfortable living area. The bedrooms are decorated with a charming ski/western theme and each has its own TV. The unit is centrally located offering a five minute walk to ski town square and great views of the mountains. The complex is also on the bus route with two pick-up locations available. A great place to stay for your trip to Steamboat.

  We took our 5 year old and 6 year old to Steamboat for a Summer Mountain Vacation in August. This condo was exactly what we were looking for and was exactly as described on this website. It was in a great location; near both the mountain base and downtown. Grocery shopping just a couple of minutes away. It was a perfect spot to stay during our adventures in the area and felt like a home away from home. The condo was very clean, cozy, and well maintained. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen updated and there was plenty of room for the 4 of us. The unobstructed view of Emerald Mountain from all the windows made for a great mountain setting. The owners were helpful from start to finish, from answering our initial inquiry to returning our security deposit after our stay. They were kind and very easy to communicate with throughout. Would highly recommend. As a side note, of no issue with the condo itself or the owners, the dates we were in town there was a baseball tournament along with many families associated with this. Many of these folks happened to also be staying at the Rockies during our stay. We had issues with noise and behavior in the late evenings which eventually required a call to security. We commend both the security folks and the owners for handling this incident professionally and promptly. The owners took our concerns directly to property management to ensure guests in the future would have a great stay! The tournament and our vacation timing were purely coincidental and the setting, under normal circumstances, was beautiful and peaceful amongst quiet neighborhoods. We would certainly stay in this condo again in the future and thank the owners for being wonderfully easy to work with. Would highly recommend.

  This was our 5th trip to Steamboat over the years and this was overall one of the better condos that we have stayed in. The unit was beautifully remodeled, very comforatable and well appointed with even a crock pot for cooking our corn beef brisket on St. Patty's day! There were 2 locations to catch the bus to the ski area but we chose to walk it most days since we were so close. The heated pool & hot tubs were located just steps from our unit which we used almost daily to ease our sore Florida muscles after a day on the slopes. We were in town for 13 nights, when we first arrived the snow was great, our 11 & 16 year old kids found a hill outside to sled down but after about 7 days of no new snow (which was very unusual)we were renting bikes & touring the town in shorts & tshirts. We still managed to get 9 days of hard skiing in and with a few days of fresh powder just before we departed. Steve & Kathy were very accommodating & great to work with. We will definitly stay here again next time we go to Steamboat!

  This is a wonderful place to stay in Steamboat! Exceeded our expectations in every way. Close to the ski area and plenty of good places to eat close by. We were surprised how close we were to everything. The condo is very clean and perfect for a family of four. Its also close to the Sports Authority which had great ski rental deals that saved us a bunch. The bus is also very handy. We highly recommend staying here and would do so again.

  A great unit and everything we expected from a ski condo. Owners were very friendly responsive and willing to answer the phone with any questions. Very prompt on the email. Location is not ski in/out and the owners will not try to hide that fact. However, there are two bus stops on the property, both a two minute walk from the condo and it's less than a 10 min ride to the base area. At the base area, on the return we never waited for more than 10 minutes. Buses are prompt. The condo has recently been renovated and was very clean and in very well maintained. We did not use any of the condo amenities, but the pool and hot tub are steps from the condo front door. My one and only complaint was the kitchen cookware. We prefer to cook in on ski holidays and typically do not eat out. All the pots and pans were in rough shape and are in need of replacement. The non-stick pans were extremely scratched and really unusable. Understandably, it's tough to keep anything in good shape with renters. Otherwise the kitchen was well stocked with plenty of silverware, glasses, dishes, wine glasses, etc. And everything else was in good shape. Kitchen had dish detergent and towels for cleaning along with a working and quiet dishwasher. Ski locker right in front of the front door. No WiFi, but we were able to steal the neighbors signal. Parking is an uncovered surface lot, was well plowed. Pictures and comments on the listing reflect everything very accurately. If we were to make a return trip to Steamboat we would strongly consider using this unit again. Considering the significant savings versus on slope ski in/ski out units, I would strongly recommend this unit.

  Owner response: Pots and pans have been replaced by brand new designer ones. Also, we have replaced towels, hand towels and wash clothes in August, 2012 !!

  The condo was great, just as described and very well equipped. Steve and Karen were very easy to work with and helpful. This property is conveniently located near the mountain and to grocery, sporting goods and liquor stores. The pool and hot tubs were just outside and down one flight of stairs and nice and relaxing after a day of skiing. We highly recommend staying here and will look into it for future stays.

  We stayed at this condo in late June, 2011. Owner very helpful. Listing/photos are accurate as described, with renovations that make for a comfortable stay. Well-stocked kitchen with lots of cabinet space. Lots of space to put your stuff in the bedrooms. The bathrooms have separate sink area from the shower, aiding a quicker start to a a fun day. The unit is close to the pool and there is a large grassy area to play in (big enough for football throwing), right below the balcony. We liked the location. Grocery, WalMart, Qdoba, etc. just down the street. You can walk to the Gondola, though there really isn't much happening in Gondola and Ski Time Square at this time of year. We were told everything picks up around July 4th. It was wet, with the Core Trail being washed out and redirected in several spots. Not too be missed: Alpine Slide, Strawberry Park Hot Springs (very authentic, beautiful experience), Botanic Gardens (beautiful this time year), Boomerang Sports (consignment shop) and Mahogany Ridge's Happy Hour! We would recommend this unit to family/friends. Note: Nice options in Steamboat for eating out should you be on a gluten free diet. Healthy Solutions grocery store had yummy, healthy, gluten free fresh baked treats.

  My wife and I visited Steamboat for the first time on March 19, 2011 for 6 nights. The condo was beautifully decorated and very clean and neat. The owners were very helpful in answering all of our questions before we arrived. Because we are elderly, we did not ski, but took a ride on the gondola and had lunch on the mountain. The views were breathtaking!! We enjoyed going downtown shopping and just being out in the snow. All in all, it was a great trip.
