Map & Owner's Profile
Why the Owner Chose Blowing Rock
While attending ASU, I fell in love with the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Our family enjoys the many hiking, rafting, skiing and sightseeing opportunities.
Owner's Map of Blowing Rock
I found this cottage on VRBO several years ago and brought my family on a winter vacation to see snow! Living on the coast, this was a rare treat for my daughters. We enjoyed the fantastic location, great stream and rustic, cozy feel of the cottage so much, we decided to buy it! We hope you enjoy your visit as much as our family does.

We had a delightful stay at Creekside Cottage last weekend. The cottage is well renovated but still has a cozy ski A frame house feel. The owner has provided everything you need to truly escape for the weekend. And the new jacuzzi provided quick relief after hiking the mountain trails each day. The location north of Blowing Rock makes it an easy ride to Boone, Blowing Rock and other spots off the Parkway. It was only 15" to Grandfather Mtn trails (and 20" to the new Grandfather Mtn Winery). The owner is professional, easy to work with and highly responsive to any requests. I look forward to another visit!

We had a wonderful long weekend. The cabin is very comfortable and inviting. We enjoyed the hot tub and the firepit. The location is great, close to town but feel tucked away from it all. Thanks for sharing with us!

We came to Creekside Cottage because I needed a get away after a Divorce. This was our first time coming to Blowing Rock and Absolutely Loved It!! Mom & I were able to bring our 3 dogs and they loved it as well. Never before have we had a vacation where we actually came back relaxed. It was wonderful and just a short drive from Blowing Rock. We didn't go anywhere else. I know we are going to plan a return trip. I have been telling everyone I know about this place, this was also our first rental thru VRBO and it was so easy and stress free will do again. Thank You Eddie & Carol for such a wonderful relaxing vacation!!! I hope to be back soon. Sincerely, Lauri, Gail, Lucas, Bobby & Scooter

Just perfect for summer. We can’t wait to enjoy this place during the ski months. The location is perfect for those with a motorcycle. Swap the single chair in front of the TV for a love seat for two to enjoy. Thank you for adding the personal touches and amenities (e.g. bath robes, coffee, wifi, hot tub fire pit soft towels)

Thanks for the memories. We love Blowing Rock, and now Aho Gap. Next time, if you’ll have us back, we’ll spend more time at the cabin than anywhere else, it is so relaxing. Only thing we would suggest are some comfy lounge chairs to stretch out in outside.

Most relaxed we’ve been in a long time. Great way to spend my 50th and our 3rd anniversary! Thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub each night & waking to the sounds of the birds & stream each morning.

Our weekend stay was perfect! This sweet house was more than we could have asked for, the perfectly stocked kitchen, the little beautiful details of the home, the sounds of the creek as we fell asleep…Thank you so much for sharing your home & your hearts.
