  This was our first trip to Marco Island and we were very happy with the rental. The listing accurately depicts the house and all of the additional features provided. We particularly enjoyed using the 2-person kayak, fishing poles and bicycles. Yes, some of the bike were not new, but they all worked and this is a rental unit. Pool was great with no issues. There were a few items that were a bit of a nuisance: The screen door out to the dock always slammed shut. Yes, you figure out how to 'help' the door close quietly, but this should be a simple fix. The mater bedroom's sliding patio door and kitchen window were a bit difficult to easily close and lock. Again, not a huge deal, but you is was a bit frustrating the first day when I had to play with the patio door to be sure it was locked before we left the house. Same thing with the front door...it would not latch when the door closed unless you turned the doorknob....a nuisance, but should be easily fixed. Last, the sliding glass doors in front of the washer/dryer were not secure on the bottom tracks. If you pay attention to the doors when opening and closing, it was not an issue, but with a bit of attention, this should be easily corrected as well. At the end of the day, we were very happy with the house and I only point out the few items above to make this excellent rental even better.

  Owner response: We are glad you enjoyed our home. We have 5 bikes and a tandem bike at the house (we keep the older 2 bikes just in case a tenant breaks one of them then there is a back up). The little items have already been addressed by a handyman. Again, glad you enjoyed your stay and the use of the 2 person kayak, bikes, fishing from the dock and pool (new heater and resurfaced 2/18/13).

  My family just enjoyed our most relaxing and entertaining vacation thanks in large part to this wonderful home. The pictures really do not do the home justice, it is just lovely. It is also very well equipt with beach and pool items as well as the 2man kayak! I thoroughly enjoyed the kitchen which just has everything you might need to prepare meals. We loved the wall That opens to the lanai and my family spent most of the time we weren't at nearby SouthBeach playing in the big pool, fishing off the dock or eating and playing games at the table in the lanai. We enjoyed evening bicycle rides to the park right down the street. Nice to find games and movies and beach towels and all those little things that make this place a Real HOME! Our girls are 12,11 and 10 and 4 adults we had plenty of space and could have alone time if we wanted to! The neighborhood is quiet and next door neighbors friendly! This one is definitely a destination!! See you next year!! The Kopmann Family

  This rental lived up to everything listed in VRBO. The decorating was very nice. Plenty of linens, and beach items. We stayed for five weeks. Would highly recommend this rental home.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, families with teenagers.

  This was a beautiful home! It was clean with lots of amenities: Everything you could possibly need to enjoy the beach are provided...coolers of every size, chairs, toys, cart, etc... The pool was warm and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need and the grill was clean. The furnishings were way above average and very comfortable. We enjoyed plenty of sunshine outside the lani and on the dock. Internet was reliable and fast. The neighborhood was quiet and well maintained. A vacation spot and home that all members of the family can enjoy and come away feeling refreshed. Highly recommended for all ages! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home.

  This was our 2nd stay on Marco. This property is exactly as the the advert states. It was better than our first property on Marco which was on Bald Eagle Drive. We requested a kettle which was provided straight away. Location is great. 2 mins by car from the supermarket/shops, and about 5mins to the beach. We left some brochures/flyers/ifo for future guests as this was the only thing missing in our opinion. A folder with instructions for certain appliances etc/area info wouldn't go amiss. Owner is aware of this request. Dock is OK for fishing. A dolphin swam by under the dock early one morning. All in all, if you can't have a great time here, I suggest you don't go on holiday/vacation. Carter family, Hampshire UK

  This is a beautiful home in an upscale quiet residential neighborhood. The open floor plan is bright and airy and the decor, furnishings, linens etc. were high end and very tasteful. Everything you need was provided. The kitchen was a dream. We loved the canal water view and enjoyed brilliant orange sunrises that turned to a lovely pink glow casting its reflection on the water. The landscaping is lush and perfectly manicured. We could barely drag ourselves out of the great pool, too! We had a couple of beach mornings and a run to Tin City in Naples, but otherwise we just never wanted to leave the lanai and pool! This is a clean and well-maintained home, as evidenced by the maintenance person who was in and out in no time cleaning the air conditioning filter and pool (which was already sparkling clean). Another morning Joe came by to repair a screen in the lanai that had pulled loose from the frame (we hadn't even noticed it - was a 6" area) and he was delightful to speak with - gave us lots of info on the area while he worked! We are an active 59 and 64 and enjoy a peaceful environment - we looked on line at a number of homes on MI and Naples, but we clearly picked the winner! We will definitely come back to this gorgeous home. Thanks for sharing it with us!

  Currently in the middle of a two-week stay here. House is beautiful and has all of the amenities desired for a vacation....owners were a delight when inquiring about property. Would definitely stay again...looking forward to another vacation here next summer.
