Wonderful house in fantastic location. Everything was as promised. Very clean and comfortable. Extremely close to downtown, restaurants, and Mississippi State University. Dorothy was very easy to work with and communicated very well with me. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

My husband rented this house off and on for over a month when he was working in Starkville. We are from Raleigh North Carolina, and having this house made his work experience much more enjoyable. Dorothy was very easy to work with and it was nice to know some one was there if he needed anything. During his stay, he required medical attention and Dorothy was able to recommend a doctor, which gave me piece of mind that someone was there to help. The house was very clean and was exactly what they needed. Much better than hotel living :) It was also nice that the house was so close to everything!! -This was the first time that we had rented anything from VRBO and she made everything so easy. I would highly recommend this house for either a long term stay like what we did, or even just for a weekend vacation.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

My wife and 2 kids (6&4) really enjoyed our stay. Well located and great decorations. Wife was able to walk to all the shops on Main, and so close we could have walked to campus. Hot SBW, so we made several trips back and forth to enjoy the AC.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was exactly as pictured, clean and had very comfortable beds. The owner was helpful, prompt and gracious in answering my questions. Staying at this house was great for our family. Our 2 girls (ages 1 and 4) had plenty of room to play inside and out. I would much rather stay at this house than any hotel.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

My sister and our kids rented it for a weekend getaway, using it as an excuse to see our MSU student. We were very comfortable, everything was so close, and the new bathroom was a nice asset. We visited the best restuarants and Dandy Doodlez, and even went to a church service. And because it rained the entire weekend, the covered carport made our trip... Thanks for sharing it!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

My young son and I drove in to visit Grandpa for Christmas. Rather than get two hotel rooms, I rented this home. We had plenty of room, a gathering area and separate bedrooms. The bathroom is newly remodeled. The whole house spic and span! It is just a few blocks from downtown, several nice resteraunts and a huge grocery store. I ran both days without any fear of being alone. The owner, Dorothy, even put up a small tree and Christmas lights! How sweet! We hope to make this our annual meet-up spot!!!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car.
