Located in a "ONE OF A KIND" area within The Villages which includes use of a "PRIVATE" NEIGHBORHOOD POOL! (All the pools within "The Villages" are available to you; however, THIS POOL/PARK IS EXCLUSIVE FOR VILLA DE LA MESA RESIDENTS and their overnight guests.) Great for neighborhood activities - quieter because of limited use.
LOCATION: Between SPANISH SPRINGS TOWN SQUARE (Short Walk) and the SUMTER LANDING (Direct Access). Both Squares have excellent restaurants, movie theater, shopping, nightly entertainment and dancing! HOWEVER, a short walk to SPANISH SPRINGS is the only area that you will find a bowling alley, Katie Belle's Restaurant/Dance Hall along with Church Services and concerts at the Inter-Denominational Church-on-the-Square!
CHULA VISTA RECREATION CENTER is located between your villa & Spanish Springs and provides a multitude of activities including an "Adult Pool" and golf courses. The Rio Grande Family Pool & air gun facility is located just outside the entrance to Villa De La Mesa!
GOLF: If desired, we arrange for you to obtain the Resident I.D. pass which allows two adults per household golf at the 30+ Executive Golf Courses and reduced rates at the Country Clubs. FREE guest passes for you and/or your guests will allow access to most courses on a "pay-to-play" basis. Note: A minimum trail free will be charged at all courses, unless the golfer is a "walker."
Our continuously updated, 2 bedroom, free-standing, Stucco Villa with attached garage features a ceramic-tile kitchen and dining area, carpeted living area, attached enclosed lanai, with private walled courtyard, cable & WIRELESS INTERNET.
The Master Bedroom features a Queen Size Canopy Bed with an AIR COMFORT MATTRESS that can be adjusted to your individual preference. This bedroom includes a bathroom w/shower & walk-in closet. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds with access to bath w/tub. (A comfy sleep sofa is located in the living room area for those extra unexpected short-term "guests.")

We enjoyed a very Merry Christmas here at your cozy villa thanks to your thoughtful attention and hospitality. We were continuously surprised and delighted upon finding everything we needed, from scotch tape to a lint brush, beach towels, dishes of all shapes and sizes, and even a height cushion for the golf cart! You've thought of everything - oh (except maybe a dictionary to look of Bill O'Reilly's word for the day! Blessings to you both!

and put my daughter and two grandchildren in Mikes golf cart to show us the way to their villa. What a great start to my kids vacation. I was there for May and June, 2010 so it's about time I gave my review. My kids stayed with me for 18 days and then I was there by myself. Mike and Cathy were "aware" of me at all times which made everything wonderful. The villa inself is furnished really nice and I couldn't have asked for anything more, because it is more than fully equipped. Anyone wanting to rent their villa will be fortunate to get it. You will love it, I know I sure did. Many thanks to Mike and Cathy.
