This is a beautiful home that is clean and very well maintained. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The home is within 10 minutes of any store/restaurant you could possibly need. This was a wonderful place for my family to stay while seeing family in Florida for the holidays. Every aspect of the home met or exceeded our expectations from reading the description on VRBO. The owner was easy to communicate with and all of our transactions went smoothly. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone who is planning to stay in the Port Charlotte area, and I will be booking this home again the next time we visit Florida.

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

My wife and I visited Florida to purchase a retirement home. This beautiful home that we had rented for the week turned out to be the standard that we used to compare all the homes we saw, in fact very few homes held up in comparison since "ours" was so very, very nice. Thank you for a wonderful experience, and for sharing your home.

Well kept, clean, beautifully decorated home with an open airy lanai containing exquisite outdoor furniture, and a warm inviting pool. The master bathroom is huge --- every room is charming! We loved our holiday and the house.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We just returned home from spending a fabulous week at your home. We couldn't have asked for better accommodations for our vacation with dear friends. We instantly felt at home, the kids were very comfortable and had lots of room to play. They wanted for nothing but to splash and play in the beautiful pool, then take a break for lunch in the lanai. Jerry was wonderful and helpful with any questions we had...it was a pleasure chatting with him! We have unanimously agreed this will be our yearly vacation tradition....thanks for providing such a beautiful home, equipped with everything we could ever need!

Our stay was exceptional! Everything that Maureen and Fred wrote about their home was true! Being there in person is even better than the photos. We had family and friends to the house for a BBQ and pool party. Jerry (the property caretaker) was so helpful. This is the best place that we have stayed with VRBO and we've used them about 10-15 times. We loved it so much, we're coming back in July of 2012! Maureen and Fred - thanks so much for sharing your home with us. It is beautiful and first class!

We had an absolutely wonderful 2 week vacation in your beautiful home and would highly recommend your home to our family and friends. This home is a definite AAA - you have thought of all amenities possible! Everything was perfect - the home, the pool and the weather. A big big thank you to Jerry and Susie for answering all our questions - and especially to you Jerry for helping us jump start our car on our first day - you went well beyond the call of duty! Thank you again Maureen and Fred, we would love to come back next year.

Too Good To Be a Rental Property!

We stayed at this wonderful house for two months. Our jaws dropped when we walked in the front door! The pictures don't do it justice. We spent many days enjoying the spectacular lanai and pool area. The location was fantastic--close to shopping, the ball park and within easy distance to the beach. The friendly staff who looked after the property were wonderful and so accommodating. We hesitate to write such a glowing review because we would really like to keep it as our secret! Keep us in mind if there is a long-term cancellation next winter.

We had a very relaxing stay here for the month a welcome escape from the cold north. Fred and Maureen Maureen you have a lovely well equipped home, and we especially enjoyed a swim every day in the heated pool – a real bonus on those few cool days. The computer too helped keep us in touch with family and friends.

Exceptional home, everything was fantastic! Anything we needed we seemed to find. The house is very nicely furnished and maintained. Overall a spectacular place, your home here in Florida. We even stayed an extra day so that we could enjoy the pool for one more day. Thanks for everything.

Your home and décor is amazing. We really enjoyed our stay at your abode. The weather was great for December and it was very different having Christmas Dinner outdoors considering where we are from- Hamilton Ontario. This would never happen again. Thank you from all of us.
