This beach front property is one of the very best in all of Capitola or Santa Cruz. We are just beginning to rent it out after only using it for the family for the past few years. It is 'NEWLY REMODELED' and in absolutely great shape. It has a flat screen TV, free internet, and a great stereo system. If you do have to finish a little work when you arrive, you can access the internet while you are out in front of the beach home enjoying the view.
Enjoy the sun, sea, and sand out your front door and don't miss the shopping and dining all within walking distance. This condo sleeps 6 comfortably and has a fully equipped kitchen. We offer linens and towesl for your use but they must be washed, dried, folded and put back prior to your departure.
This condo has been in the family for many years. We completely remodeled the condo a couple of years ago and it is one of the very best available. With the beach as our 'family room' and the ocean our playground, this is where we have made some of our fondest family memories. We are sure you will build many memories of your own that you will enjoy and cherish.
While you are here, BBQ on the beach to the sounds of the crashing waves and listen to the music of the Fog Bank restaurant band being played from across the lagoon. Stroll to the village for homemade ice cream at the Cafe Violette-Polar Bear Ice Cream or just stroll down to the end and check out the view.
In the morning, drop by Mr. Toots Coffee house for your AM pick-me-up. Then wander over to Zelda's for a tasty breakfast. This is only if you decide not to make your own breakfast in the fully furnished kitchen. Make sure you walk off your delicious meal by browsing the many wonderful shops in the Capitola Village. Be sure to check out the Rainbow City Limits Store to view their great selection of kites and other fun activities for the kids.
These historic homes are part of the unique charm of Capitola. Our families have built many memories over the years and are sure you will do the same.

The Capitola / Aptos area has been very special to my family for generations! Getting back there for this past Thanksgiving holiday was incredible. The units are just adorable - the perfect beach houses. My family had such a wonderful time - so relaxing, great weather, restaurants in walking distance. This was the perfect vacation spot for us - thank you so much for opening it up. This was one of the most relaxing vacations I have had in years!! The condo is very nicely updated, great amenities and the perfect size for our family (2 adults/2 kids). The best part was having coffee with the front doors open to beach and crashing waves. The proximity to the shopping/restaurants of the village made for relaxing strolls around town and up the river, wine tasting and dining - never having to touch the car. We will definitely be returning for family vacations! Our family had a great time vacationing here this summer. The unit is very clean, has all the ammenities needed, and nicely decorated. With two young kids, having the beach at your doorstep is great! We had a wonderful time. We found the beach house to be modern, clean and just steps away from the ocean and restaurants. My three grand-daughters are ready to go again any time! This is a great place to stay. You can't get better than being on the beach and the house is very comfortable. The owners were very helpful, which made the planning a breeze. Was very pleased with this rental. It was clean and nice. Everything was as stated. Will definitely use again if availably. My family and I just had 5 nights on the beach in Capitola. I had looked in on a place in the Venitian quite a few years ago and it was cute in a funky kind of way. That being said, my wife and I had always wanted to stay there so we booked a unit on the beach for my 40th. What a pleasant surprise when we walked in! Everything is new and clean. For a one bedroom it really is open. Our family of four was very comfortable AND we had guests two nights. Plus, how much room do you need when you are ON THE BEACH?! We loved it and had a great time!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

The place was very clean and comfortable for both adults and kids. Capitola is a great place to relax, have great eat out dinners, or stay in and cook in the fully equipped kitchen. Sand right outside your door. Close to everything...didn't use the car for three days. The Mouse House was our family's favorite vacation spot from the very first year we stayed there (1992). The closeness to the ocean, the sound of the waves, the geese and pelicans and the amazing people were all reasons for extending our stays and returning each year. The village atmosphere is fun and offers a variety of activities for adult and family enjoyment. We are so thrilled to be back and had an AMAZING week.
