  The resort is very beautiful. Although all the amenities were close while we were there it made us exited to come back and really experience it. The kids really loved it and didn't want to go home. Plenty of other families to get on with, very friendly community. Our dog also loved meeting other dogs. The cottage we stayed in was very comfortable and clean. The view from the balcony was spectacular.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners.

  We had a wonderful time staying in this cabin, it was the quite side of the lake which is a different experience. It had everything that we needed as well. The view on the deck is amazing, but you cannot walk down to the water unless you are in super good shape. About 45 mins from Kelowna or Vernon. Is a pet friendly community which was very nice. The tennis courts, mini golf, beach volleyball, pool and water trampoline's at the lake were well used. Was a great weekend all around. However, after Sept long the store is not open long and carries a lot less, the bakery was not open and neither the resturant which is sad because Sept is still very beautiful and warm at the lake.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, people with disabilities, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

  This was our second stay at this unit in La Casa resort. The highlight for me was the back deck overlooking the lake - it is beautiful. Plenty of seating out there, nice BBQ, even a portable firepit. The until itself is clean, in good condition, well decorated and is very spacious. Cathy (the rental agent) does her very best to ensure a great stay. La Casa resort is a ways away down a windy road from Kelowna but this year they (re)opened a full restaurant and a general store so the need to pop into Kelowna was reduced. The pools were fun as was the beach water park. Our dogs loved swimming in the lake at the dog beach. We did a bit of touring around but returning to the unit everyday for "happy hour" was something to look forward to. It was very convenient for my husband and son to go dirtbiking as the resort backs onto the Bear Creek OHV rec area. I would definately recommend this unit to everyone.

  This place is beautiful, well stocked and clean! The view from the deck is amazing. Would definately recommend it to anyone.

  We stayed in the cottage over the Canada Day Long weekend as our kids were in a soccer tournament in Kelowna. There were 7 of us in the cottage (4 adults and 3 kids) and we found that we had plenty of space. The drive into Kelowna took about 35 minutes each morning but knowing that we were going to be able to return to this beautiful cottage/resort after our games made it totally worth the time! We loved the huge deck, the BBQ and the spectacular view. The cottage itself was fabulous - clean, well maintained and cozy! It was also well stocked with everything we needed for our stay and it had a great location on the property. Our boys LOVED the pool, mini golf, tennis, beach volleyball, the park and swimming in the lake (even though it was REALLY cold!). The owner's rental agent (Cathy) was amazing and made the rental process so seamless and organized! We were also really impressed by how quiet the resort was - especially for a long weekend. People were very respectful of each other's privacy and although everyone seemed to be enjoying time outside on their decks, there never seemed to be anything that got out of control or infringed on the enjoyment or peace and quiet of others. We highly recommend staying in this cottage if you are in the area!
