Welcome to our Kings Beach Escape, located in the wonderful town of Kings Beach on Lake Tahoe’s north shore.
This beautiful, new (construction completed in 2008), well decorated and comfortable home is located just 4 blocks to the one of the best and largest public beaches on Lake Tahoe (and adjacent boat launch). This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom clean brand new home comfortably sleeps 8-10 with two bedrooms (two queens in one room and two singles and a baby crib in the other), one bathroom downstairs and one bedroom (King Bed) and one bathroom upstairs, living and dining room upstairs. Two additional inflatable beds provide 2-4 people with beds, and can easily fit on the floor in the bedrooms. We also have a full size crib for your little one.
We have tried to incorporate everything you will need during your restful stay. With a well appointed kitchen (our family is a bunch of foodies), new furniture, comfortable open floor plan, two decks and large family dinner table, you will feel as if you have been whisked away to your mountain getaway, while still enjoying the comforts of home.
Other amenities include a 50” Flat-screen Satellite TV (with sports and Movie packages), Stereo, Granite countertops, beautiful stone entry and bathroom floors, one car garage parking (plus a driveway that will hold three additional cars), Jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom, hardwood floors, free Wi-Fi, new comfortable beds, linens and furnishings, gas barbeque, beach chairs you can use during your stay, ski rack in the garage to hang wet skis after a day on the slopes, TV in the master bedroom, double sinks in the master bath, a gas fireplace when you just want to stay in and watch the snow fall and two decks where you can drink your morning coffee, catch some sun during the day, or have a glass of wine or cocktail as the sun sets.
While staying here, you will be centrally located close to the beach, just six miles to Northstar, four miles to Incline Village, ten miles to Tahoe City, Truckee and Mt. Rose, 13 miles to Alpine Meadows and 15 miles to Squaw Valley. Whether you like carve on your skis on the mountains in the winter, or enjoy the water, or like to hike, bike or golf in the summer, you are so close, and with all of Lake Tahoe’s numerous activities, you are sure to find something for everyone!
There are numerous restaurants within walking distance (I am happy to recommend to you some of our favorites), as well as a Safeway, Movie Theater, and nightlife close by. Of course, Crystal Bay, Nevada and its casinos are just 1 mile away if you wish to try your luck on the tables or slots!
The town of Kings Beach is located directly on the Lake, about 10 miles south of Truckee on Hwy 267 and North Lake Blvd (Hwy 28). The Reno, Nevada International Airport is a direct route to North Lake Tahoe about 40 miles away. South lake Tahoe is about 33 miles (45 minutes by car) There are numerous historical and interesting points of interest, all within a short driving distance.

This cabin was perfect for my wife, kids and parents to stay for a few days. It was only a 5 minute walk to the beach and main street so we didn't need to use the car as everything was close by. The cabin shows just like the photos and is very clean and well kept. Owners were very easy to deal with and booking the property was simple and straight forward, I would definitively book this cabin again.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

This house has everything you would want. Lovely kitchen, spacious rooms, comfortable living room with big screen television, dining table for eight and a deck with open views. Best of all, the location is excellent, as you can walk to the beach/lake, restaurants, and stores within five minutes. The house is two stories, modern, well maintained and has tall ceilings upstairs. The owners are very responsive and easy to work with, which is an added plus. We were attending an AAU basketball tournament in Kings Beach and decided to stay at this location. I have to say that we were pleasantly surprised. The property was exceptionally clean and it included a well stocked kitchen. The location was perfect for our youth basketball tournament and centrally located in Kings Beach. We were walking distance to the lake and basketball court. The owner of the property made great recommendations for places to eat. The property has a master bedroom upstairs with a King size bed, large kitchen, large dining table, big screen TV, large deck with barbecue and two bedrooms downstairs. This was a great cabin and a great vacation. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lake Tahoe.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

This is the first time I rented a house using VRBO, at first I was afraid to get into a scam situation, but the onwer of this house was very friendly and always answer my questions and calls. We stayed here for New Years weekend and I have to say the house exceeded my expectations. This house is lovely and very confortable. I really love the kitchen area, the kids love the table games and of course the huge TV we cable. This house is a few blocks from the beach area and 10 minutes away from the Diamond Peek ski area. Everyone enjoyed and had a wonderful time. We want back soon! Thanks Steve. :)Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children.

I would recommend this as a very convenient location. Comfortable, large 3 bedroom with a modern new kitchen. Large family room off kiitchen. Great for a family vacation. Easy to get to and central to both Tahoe City and Incline Village. We enjoyed the holidays with our family in a comfortable relaxed enviroment. An exception value for a reasonable cost.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children.

This was an absolutely fabulous cabin. The entire property has been renovated with beautiful wood floors, granite counter tops, new appliances, jacuzzi tubs, and three bedrooms (sleeps 6 in beds, aerobeds provided as well as a couch). Flat screen TV's, free internet, a kitchen stocked with plenty of supplies for cooking, a gorgeous dining area complete with wine glasses and wood furniture. This cabin also has three small decks (one downstairs off a bedroom, two upstairs - one in the master bed and one off the living room) with lovely views in the winter. The owners have put a lot of thought in to the decor and set up of the house - modern, updated, with all the amenities you could wish for. This cabin is walking distance from the lake and small shops downtown, and a quick drive from ski resorts. Places to sled and hike are nearby, located in a charming neighborhood. The pictures are accurate but almost don't capture the true beauty of the property. This place is an absolute steal for the price - we highly recommend it and plan on returning in the summer!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

We loved our stay at this gorgeous and newly remodeled home in Kings Beach. We are going back again this upcoming year and are thrilled to be able to stay there again. It is close to stores, shopping, and a short walk to the beautiful lake. You have all the amenities of a full functioning home with enough space to easily fit 2 families and room to breath easily. The Wii was a very pleasant surprise and huge hit for kids and adults alike with tournaments every night! You are 10 minutes away from Northstar, one our favorite ski resorts in Lake Tahoe. I without a doubt would recommend this home to anyone looking for the perfect Tahoe Getaway home!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children.

CHECK-IN TIME IS AFTER 4 P.M. Local time AND CHECK-OUT IS 10 A.M. Local time. 2. This is a NON SMOKING house. Please do not smoke in or around the house. Aside from the massive fire danger as you are in a national forest, this is our home and any smoke related damage/smells will be taken out of the deposit. 3. Pets are not permitted in our home under any conditions. 4. Please do NOT use the alarm system when staying at the home. It should be deactivated it when you arrive. If it is accidentally tripped during your stay, and police/fire/other personnel arrive for a false alarm, we may be charged. That charge will be passed through to you and taken out of your deposit. 5. DAMAGE/RESERVATION DEPOSIT- A damage deposit of $400 is required. This must be received within five (5) days of booking the reservation. The deposit automatically converts to a security/damage deposit upon arrival. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable within (14) days of departure, provided the following provisions are met. a. No damage is done to house or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear. b. No charges are incurred due to contraband, children, collection of rents or services rendered during the stay and all rules in this contract are followed. c. All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in bear box at end of driveway, and soiled dishes are placed in the dishwasher. d. Unit is left locked unless otherwise informed by owner/owner representative. e. All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure. f. No linens are lost or damaged. g. NO Early check-in or late check-out. h. Key and alarm system “clicker” (if applicable) is returned to owner/owner representative. i. The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner) or the local law enforcement. 6. PAYMENT - An advance payment equal to approximately 50% of the rental rate is required upon booking. The advance payment will be applied toward the room rent. Please make payments online, or in the form of traveler's checks, bank money orders, cashiers checks or personal checks payable to Stephen Barrios. Paypal is also an option for payment, please contact me for information (extra fee may apply). The advance payment is not a damage deposit. CANCELLATIONS - A sixty (60) day written notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within 60 days of the arrival date but before 28 days arrival, forfeit the full advance payment. Cancellation within 28 days or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent payments. In the case that the reservation is made less than 28 days prior to arrival, there are no cancellations. 8. MONTHLY RESERVATION CANCELLATIONS (if applicable)- Monthly renters must cancel one hundred twenty (120) days prior to check-in. Monthly renters who make a change that results in a shortened stay must be made at least ninety (90) days prior to check-in. Initial________ 9. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY- The maximum number of guests per this reservation is limited to the number of people listed above. NO DAILY MAID SERVICE - While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate however during stay maid service and/or cooking for guests is available at an additional rate. Please contact us for details. We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the units. 13. GARBAGE – Garbage pick up is on Wednesdays. Please note that the garbage will not be picked up if there is snow accumulated in front of the bear box. Please clear this area if you would like the garbage to be picked up. If there is no room in the bear box, please leave any garbage bags in the garage. 14. RATE CHANGES - Rates subject to change without notice. 15. FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS - Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check-in. 16. WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS - Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance. 17. ALARM – Please see number 4 above. 18. PARKING – Parking is limited to four (4) vehicles (or the maximum that will fit in the driveway and garage combined). Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas only. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees and is the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner. 19. STORM POLICY/ROAD CONDITIONS – No refunds will be given for storms. Mountain roads can be curvy and steep. Freeways and highways leading to the house are well maintained, however we highly recommend four wheel drive and/or chains during the snow months. We do not refund due to road conditions. 20. All of the cabins are privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
