Built in 2010, Last Nickel Lodge is a great home situated in the Highlands, on a quiet corner on the sixth fairway of the Breckenridge Golf Course. This luxurious house has been built with top of the line finishes, attention to detail, state of the art technology, and oversized master bedrooms. The main level boasts cathedral ceilings and an open-plan grand room, dining room, and kitchen. In the grand room, there is a large flat screen TV (Direct TV and a DVD/VHS system) and a premium gas fireplace. The gourmet kitchen is fully outfitted for your convenience and pleasure with marble countertops and stainless steel appliances. In addition to the dining room, which features a 12-seat formal dining table, there is a kitchen table that seats an additional four guests and a fold out table for four more.
The main level also includes a separate laundry room, heated garage with two parking spaces, ski/snowboard racksand boot racks. Lastly, on the east wing of the main level, there are two master suites, which are described in further detail below.
Upstairs, there are two additional master suites, a bunk room, and a very large media/recreation room. Along with a state of the art entertainment system, the recreation room includes a full-size pool table, foosball table, wet bar, and mini kitchen. The upstairs entertainment system includes a large flat screen TV, DVD player, CD player, iPod player, and surround-sound (with controlling capability in all major common areas and individual bedrooms). The recreation room also includes three leather couches, dining table, and array of games. Additionally, the house is equipped with wireless internet throughout and telephone access with unlimited local calls. Lastly, the house includes a brand new hot tub in the backyard, overlooking the Breckenridge Golf Course. This is perfect to soothe away those sore muscles after a long day on the slopes.
Located in the prestige Highlands area and four miles from downtown Breckenridge and the Breckenridge Ski Resort, this property is an ideal vacation home for all seasons - from skiing in the winter to mountain biking in the summer.
